Throughout this season, I have seen least 5 to 6 MK Dons game. In every one of those games, Alli was the standout. His ability & maturity at just 18 is awesome.

He has played 3,300 minutes in league 1 this season - thats phenomenal for a 18 year old. And more importantly has scored 16 goals & 9 assists from CM position.

Against United in cup, he bossed the midfield & Dons won it 4-0.

To me he is the ideal Pochettino CM, who can play & make the runs & score as well.
From watching him quite a few times would you say he is more a CM or attacking mid who should play further up the pitch. I've only seen him on highlights on TV so it's never clear where he started in the match but as he was banging in so many goals i assumed he was an attacking midfielder.

playing him further forward would be a mistake, he's a complete central midfielder. he gets a lot of goals because he's an excellent 3rd man runner but he's not intricate enough to play higher up.

really excited to see what these lads can do in a Spurs shirt. the preseason might give us an indication of Poch's plans for them as it did with Mason last year.

Cheers for the info, it was never really clear where he played but hearing he is more central is brilliant and hopefully he'll compete a lot with Bentaleb and Mason.

Ali yes but Pritchard no.

Seriously he has all the tools to succeed in the Premiership, if not for his ability his mentality and sheer arrogance on the ball, just seems like nothing phases him, I can see him taking the league by storm next season.

Let me put it this way - Alli does things in a way Lampard does. He will be in the game & play some very good passes - & arrive in time into the box & score. He is everything that we thought Paulinho would be. He isn't a defensive minded CM - but alongside someone like Schneiderlin (hopefully) , he will be at his best.

We need a defensive spine before blooding in both Alli & Pritchard. To put them both in XI alongside our current defense would be suicidal. They have to learn to play in rigor of PL. Last thing they need is both to do ugly defensive work when they should be developing their game in attacking end.

Now that Pritchard's Brentford season has finished can he come back and play v Everton?

Or is he too old/not registered?

I'd love to see Pritchard in team next season, it will be interesting to see how he best slows in.

Either on left or central, will he combine with or replace Eriksen?

I think he might initially begin on the wing, but I think his destined position will be the No 10. For the left, we have Chadli who at least produces, and I suspect we'll finally be going out to buy a pacey alternate to him. Meanwhile, we have seen very erratic and inconsistent performances from the 10 spot all season, especially as the season's petered out. I think Pritch should at least compete with Eriksen for the 10 spot, and at the very worst it might force Eriksen to up his game a bit. I think part of his problem is the fact he feels too damn secure in his playing time. To back this up, Eriksen responded very well to being dropped to the cup squad for Holtby by AVB last season, and I consequently have hope Eriksen might kick it into higher gear with better competition behind/alongside him.

How much then
Lamela cost £26m. Soldado, no one knows for sure. £26m is the normal presumption, but IIRC, some ITK's have stated it was less than that, and around £14m. So, between them, they either cost £40m or £52m. And they have contributed some, mainly Lamela has. Just not as much as we'd all like, as of yet.

He wouldn't need to be registered as he was under 21 on 1st Jan 2014, however....

Most (if not all) season-long loan agreements run until the end of the transfer window to prevent such a scenario - the loan agreement wouldn't be "until the last match of the season", but until a fixed date (i.e. 1st of June) that would surpass the play off final (25.05.15).

This would be in case of any such scenario where the club would require him but the parent club wanted him back.

If either are them are ready to replace Eriksen I would just sell Eriksen while his stock is high. Fans of other clubs remember his late goals but haven't seen the months of absolute dross.

All the reports including the bbc reported soldado at 26m
I think it's fair to say he has contributed zilch, and lamela for 26m odd has done very little
Yet have still received support
