Future's bright - Alli and Pritchard

What's his contract situation? I seem to recall he only has 1 or 2 years left. We've done great getting the youngsters contracts sorted this year (Bentaleb, Winks, Onomah) which was my main hope for this transfer window. Would like to get Pritchard tied down though.

Got a year left, a new deal is supposed to be tied up just not announced.

Thanks. Hope that's true. Sounds like the club has done a lot for him so would be surprised if he didn't show some loyalty.

Pritch 'should' be back by next week training, though he is on a personal training programme already. Should know end of week. Mason caution but same, will know more and hope it is not a recurrence. If so a little while but cannot be clear yet but highly doubtful as they are being very careful with him. Expected to be in contention next week is the aim and why they are being very careful.

Mauricio also reported that Alex Pritchard will soon start to train with the squad after being ruled out of pre-season with an ankle injury sustained in the UEFA Under-21 Championship. "It was a shame because we expect a lot from him," added Mauricio.
