Both clubs they represent did exceptionally well in their respective divisions and both players were awarded best player for their respective clubs.

Yes the level is inferior but thw fact that they were the best players in one of the best teams speaks volumes of their capabilities.

Looking forward to next season.... (perennial statement...sighhh)

Agreed

Still holding out hope of seeing them play for us in the last three games tbh.

Not sure if they are even eligible? Alli yes, Pritchard no?

Nice to see these boys join the squad but we absolutely shouldn't be pinning our hopes on them at this stage.

They both played at the same or higher level than Bentaleb and Mason before they broke through with us, and have shown more talent imo....i cannot wait to see them in our shirt, but i sense we will need Europa for them to get a chance.

We need to be patient with these players.
Just because they did well in there respective leagues doesn't mean they will instantly be putting in MOTM stuff.
Remember there youngsters and will be playing in one of the best leagues in the world.
There are going to be mistakes and its a steep learning curve.

They will be given exactly 5 mins by most people on here.

Two new signings is how I see them.

if they don't perform instantly it'll be because they're "not ready", yet when the guy we sign for big money does the same it's because he "needs time".

he was? it was only after about 18 months that fans started to give up on him.

He didn't play for 9-12 of those 18 months though.

For me, Lamela is still young, showing good signs of improvement and is also showing that he is buying into Poch's system with his work rate. I'm not exactly thrilled with his performances but I don't understand why you have to be in either the amazing camp or get rid instantly camp? He's not going to be 35 tomorrow, what is the rush?

He wasn't playing then. When he started playing poorly everyone chopped him down straight away. You can't just come in here and say that our fans won't support Pritchard and Alli, they love home grown players. You talk to any Spurs fan atm one of the things they're most excited about for next season is seeing Pritchard in the team.

Getting this thread back on track I think we should include Fredricks who has has very positive reveiws at boro and will be playing against Pritchard in the play off. Desererves an inclusion in this conversation.

Think next season we should bring in Fredericks as cover for Walker and then send Yedlin out on loan. Quite like Fredericks - good little player.

Throughout this season, I have seen least 5 to 6 MK Dons game. In every one of those games, Alli was the standout. His ability & maturity at just 18 is awesome.

He has played 3,300 minutes in league 1 this season - thats phenomenal for a 18 year old. And more importantly has scored 16 goals & 9 assists from CM position.

Against United in cup, he bossed the midfield & Dons won it 4-0.

To me he is the ideal Pochettino CM, who can play & make the runs & score as well.
