I take a carton of drink and bag of sweets or Bounty to every game, both home and away. Never been stopped. Wouldn’t dream of paying £5 for something inside the ground , that I can get for £1 outside. Some people have more money than sense.

Just helping the profits!

I'm up here atm. My Dad complained that it's now over a fiver for 2 pints in the pub here. I said that that seemed very reasonable.

My family are thinking of disowning me.

Tell them I paid £6.20 for a pint last night in Borough Market and see how mad he gets!

Left it late to get tickets for the match today and could only get seats in the premium section (£50 each instead of £26). The burger was drier than a desert and the lager (both Heineken & Amstel) i had to gulp desperately to get it down was flat and tasted like pine leaves mixed with perfume and urine. I was begging staff to let me back into the GA areas but no joy. Most of the bar staff looked in utter despair and on the verge of major breakdowns over simple questions like "do you have any crisps". Not really relevant just thought i'd put it here

We did the same yesterday and were on the east stand. I had a burger with the wedges and it was pretty good, my Dad had a chicken salad which looked good too. agree on the beer, something wasnt quite right with the heineken. Also seemed like they left one of the bigger bars down the northern end with just one chap serving and a queue pretty long.

Other than that I was very impressed with the premium options, for a treat to preseason it was good and would do again at the right price or occasion
