Help - accessing the stadium problem - but i have tickets and CRNs

Hi all

I have a problem and Spurs themselves are not really responding ot me so I was wondering if you lot might have some ideas.

I have 2 friends over to the UK who want to go tomorrow (both with CRNs) and a friend with 2 season tickets who isn't.
ST friend forwarded the tickets to my CRN and I accepted them.
I cannot forward them and Spurs confirmed tickets cannot be re-forwarded.
So I have an email with 2 tickets in it.
Can I forward that email to my friends so they can add the tickets to their phones, or is that not going to work? The tickets are associated with my CRN not theirs.

I'm pretty sure if it's got a barcode you csan screenshot it on your phone and send them that it'll work however they don't always have a barcode if assigned to your membership. Have you downloaded to your wallet on your phone?

I haven't downloaded the tickets - the email just has links to add them to my wallet - so I should just add them and then send screen shots of the tickets and the rear of the tickets?

The email has no QR nor barcode

You need the QR Code

You need to ask your ST mate to take a screenshot of his Spurs Season Cards for that game with the QR Code and then he can send them to you….

Then you can forward to your mate etc. They scan fine when the steward scans it outside the ground and again it works fine when you scan it on the machines when entering the ground

I had the same problem a few weeks ago…

You need the QR Code

You need to ask your ST mate to take a screenshot of his Spurs Season Cards for that game with the QR Code and then he can send them to you….

Then you can forward to your mate etc. They scan fine when the steward scans it outside the ground and again it works fine when you scan it on the machines when entering the ground

No you don’t need the wallet. All you need is a screenshot on a phone from the original QR Code which has been sent to you from your ST mate - looks a bit like the above attachment….

My mate sent me 2 screenshots of the separate ST cards via WhatsApp. I then forwarded 1 of them to a mate and we both got in by scanning the QR Codes off our phones with no problem

hmm but that would only work if the ST owner still had the tickets right? He sent them to me and I accepted them so I dont think there's any association with the ST any more.

Exact same thing happened to me and he still had the ticket & QR Codes - You need the QR Code to access the stadium and as you haven’t got that then he must still be in control of the ticket/QR Code!

i checked - the ST holder doesnt have the QR code any more so it must be part of the tickets in the email I have. So I am going to add them to my apple wallet and see whats what

That will work. Done it myself with no problems. The time before that we couldn't get through the gate and the stewards were being no help, we ended up jumping the turnstile when he looked away. I had even shown my season ticket but it was just a case of "computer says no".

honestly I didn't sleep well last night with this stress of not going in despite having legit tickets. its pissed me right off. bloody spurs - total pita

ok by way of update.. In the end I got 1 friend to add my swiss mate to her network, and she gave him the ticket directly so he had a ticket.
My other ST holder sent 2 tickets to me directly, and I accepted them in eticketing and I emailed one to my other mate. Even though both tickets were associated to me, we both got in fine. So all was well in the end - Spurs did not help nor make it easy though!

It’s a pretty messy, fucked up process tbh - I’m sure in the year 2022 it could be a bit smoother and less stressful sometimes!

So screen shots of QR codes work 100% ? I want to send to a pal who is coming from abroad to the game ...I dont want him to have a wasted journey

It did for me - the person I sent my accepted ticket to, couldn't add it to a wallet (non iphone) so used QR codes. It does need scanning at two places (boundary and turnstile) but it did work. Just turn brightness up and make sure you have screen shot of QR code and also the front of the ticket

i have to say exactly the opposite its easy once the people are in your group which takes about 5 mins for them to register its a piece of piss to do - my brother hasn't been able to go for a while and we have been doing his ticket with no problems whatsoever

Yes I have found it easy ‘gifting’ a ticket. If I can’t attend the chap I sit next to is always happy to have for his daughter

Hi there,

I've got the same issue for this Saturdays game v Leicester. I've downloaded but son not got apple wallet. So if I screenshot qr code and send via WhatsApp this will work fine even though ticketmaster who issue the tickets reckon their technology prevents this? Maybe this applies to other tickets and not the Spurs ones?
