Smart choice. He’ll be a god in Turkey, a massive hit with their fans and he’ll have the heavily under fire club president wrapped around his finger heading into the upcoming election. Mourinho can easily manipulate the situation so that the president can’t sack him, he can demand to be heavily backed in the transfer market and the club is so volatile that he could walk out at any time if a better opportunity like the national team comes up. He’s basically bullet proof. Fener haven’t won the league in a decade but they only missed out last season by one point having lost one single game. If he wins it (which he should) he’ll crow about it as one of his finest achievements and his reputation is restored. This is a perfect job to keep him relevant as he is slowly slipping out of the public consciousness. Expect fireworks.
