Think we saw the basis of a decent future starting XI today; if you imagine Sessegnon replacing Rose, a dynamic 10 replacing Dele, and a more consistent DM who can actually finish replacing Sissoko, that’s not a bad base to work from.

Still a lot of work to do in January, and we’ll need to start signing replacements for Toby, Jan and Eriksen as priority, but Lo Celso looks like he can help solve a fair few of our problems.
I can't believe we've been waiting this long to see Lo Celso in action. It's nearly Xmas. What I liked seeing also was at half time Lo Celso buddied up to Ndombele and they had a tennis partnership low-five.

It's stuff like this that bodes well for the future.

Terrific win! Four goals scored and a clean sheet. This against a side with a very good home record. The three latest signings all made meaningful contributions and the team looked so much better as a unit, especially going forwards.
Dare I say this could be the turning point for the club?

Agreed. I’d like to see:

Sessegnon for Rose.
True DM for Sissoko.
Ziyech for Alli.

A real 4-3-3 with fast attacking wingers who can score and 3 midfielders who all work well together.

I know he was only on for fifteen minutes he was fresh and the defence tired deflated but I thought Sessignon played like I've not seen anyone do for years, a more natural winger than anyone else at the club.
I'm not commenting on how well he did or didn't play just the type of player he looks.

I think those who saw a 433 today must have really wanted to see a 433... Lo Celso was very much on the left of a 3 behind Kane.

edited: can’t tell right from left apparently.

An away win! fucking hallelujah! If only we could play them every week.

Good performance, especially 2nd half. Thought Lo Celso looked good, showed a lot of energy. Good for Sonny after the weekend. And credit to Dier, comes in from the cold, and holds his own and keeps a clean sheet.

Nah Peter Drury, personally I think he's an excellant commentator.

Him and Clive Allen is just a beautiful combo when they commentate on us.
Yeah I don't mind Drury either. I understand he can go a little OTT at times but he's decent
