I don't think you can have it both ways on Lamela and Soldado either. You seem to be excusing lamela, a 30 million signing, for his almost complete non contribution season, but are already calling the verdict on Soldado as settled. If anything, there's more reason to think Soldado will turn it around to look more like the 26 million signing he is than Lamela. But the truth is, Mr. Pink has it right; until we're at least half way into next season, it's unlikely that a proper judgement can be made on these guys, unless they are sold for a big loss before then. There plenty of time for these guys to not become the new bentleys.
Where in any of my posts did I ever mention that lamela was not a flop? We are talking about soldado here. Not a single word is mentioned about lamela. So how do you come up with a conclusion That I am excusing lamela?
