Fantasy Football Help

Hey guys, was wondering if any of you could offer some advice. I made a bet from the beginning of the season with my mate that I would beat him in one of the little mini-leagues that we created. Now with one gameweek to go (this is the premierleague.com ff btw) I am a slim 15 points behind him and I need some transfer advice.

He has confirmed with me that he will be making 3 transfers, costing him 8 points. So I was thinking of also doing three transfers and I want to put in some unique players that he doesn't have and will get points.

I was thinking Steven Ireland (Bolton at home), Benni McCarthy (WBA at home) and Dirk Kuyt (yids), which will also cost me 8 points. Out of these three, who should I make captain and are there also any other lucky gems you can suggest who may get a goal or two?

Bare in mind he has put in Malouda, Sagna and Lampard. Need your help fellow yiddo's, there's £20 on this :lol:. Cheers guys :cheers:

I'd have a crack at Martins. Out of the 3 you have i'd make Ireland captain.

Players who have something to play for are the ones that would probably do the best. Fulham need a point and are good defensively. Maybe one of their defenders? McCarthy would be good. Maybe Arshavin if you can afford him? :shrug:

i would suggest that you don't change any of your players, after all, you've just closed the gap by 8 points by doing absolutely nothing.
and surely, any signings that you do make will cost you points to make the transfers.

:lol: I couldn't help it, I ended up making three transfers: Matt Taylor for Steven Ireland, Luka Modric for Kuyt and Rooney for McCarthy. Fingers crossed.
