Darren Lewis reporting we are considering our options as unhappy with Conte and Poch is open to return ?
I don't understand why the club waits until 22 January to consider their options (whether this story is true or not). I want Conte to stay and be backed, but either way, why isn't Levy decisive and proactive.

So you don't think he's squeezing the most out of this team? You think we could do better than 4th last season? You think we can do better than 5th this season?
He's literally squeezing the best out of this group, we're where we belong with this squad. He just looks dejected because he doesn't like to compete for top 4 and finds himself there again this season.
Talk about burying your head in the sand

I think he can do better than being shit every week. Even when we win we are shit. How can you say that's acceptable?
Well if you think we're shit then there really is no point having a serious conversation so forget it

He’s not saying do better he is saying change something…523 isn’t working clearly, so mix it up or at least try! If you was at work and something wasn’t working you wouldn’t just keep doing the same thing would you… if yes you are a moron.
It's 343 and it's his system , it does work but the results are up and down, we just lost to 2 teams who are better than us. He tried 352 and it still didn't work. Unless he can find a formation where he plays Romero, Perisic, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Bentancur, Bissouma, Son, Richarlison, Kulusevski, Kane I don't see what difference it will make. Yes we're in a bad run of form but he has explained he doesn't trust his players to change formation.

Seems we are now solely on top in conceded goals on last 10 form table with 21 (Leeds and Bournemouth now on 20). Should we concede just one tomorrow then we would be in 20, two and we stay solely on top

do you think we are decent side then - because this season we are miles off - there really aren't many bright spots that I have seen I am truly astonished when I people say that we are not far away they have to be joking

I saw a stat the other day that said since October for goals conceded we're bottom of the table!

isn't that his job to organise a side into a system that gives them confidence and belief in what they are doing - the 3 at the back and all dropping of the ball has been consistently found out all season and against better sides torn apart

Fans should not fall for return of Poch, I love him but move on.

It shows that the last 4 years are a waste of time, and Levy will not change his ways. We couldn't get over the line with Poch, its going to be even harder now.

Then again the counter-argument is, whats the point of any fresh ideas with Levy there?

Watching both Arsenal and United today it was very clear Conte will never get us playing as well as either team

They had players who could, and were allowed to, pass the ball

Don 't Think that's in Contes DNA at all

You say that but second half of last season we played some great stuff!

I know what you mean though in terms of constant philosophy of football.

Then again ETH had them doing it today at the back and they couldnt do it properly and conceded a goal from it.

Not sure that's what @mil1lion is saying though.

Would love to know what people who think he can do better with this squad would actually do.

A back 4 isn't the solution with the options being Romero alongside one of Dier/Lenglet. I'm not having Sanchez or Davies as an option and if anyone even tries to mention Tanganga it's just because they're biased about the 'style' and they'd probably want the romanticism of Poch coming back.

Oh I love Poch, he's so great I wish he was my daddy.

Put Forster in goal ahead of Hugo, might work out, if it doesn't Conte still gets the blame because "he picks the team". Nobody, absolutely nobody could have predicted Hugo falling this far and costing us 6 times already this season. We're only over half way and if he keeps going the way he is, that's 12 goals extra he's going to cost us. But yeah, Conte is the issue.

Not sure if that is not part of what he wants but the players we have are not as technical as those of the other teams.

Talk about burying your head in the sand
Burying your head in the sand is believing Poch or any other manager would get any more out of this dogshit squad.

Or believing sacking Conte is the right move.

Burying your head in the sand is wanting Poch back because it gets Levy another 12 or 18 months off from the fans because Poch is the fans choice.
