The future is very bright if he gets us in the CL that means he will give us another season and if we finally manage to get the recruitment right to add to squad then next season could be a really good one and hopefully some silverware.

I rarely do this but I’m just watching the game again. Conte absolutely schooled Arteta tactically last night. Our play was so much more varied than normal and they just couldn’t work it out. So many times when the camera pans to Atreat he looks like the Homer simpson gif where there a monkey hitting symbols in his head. He looks completely clueless as to what to do. None more summed up when not bringing a central defender on straight away after going down to ten men.

The quotes have been a bit misconstrued. He actually says in context that when he commits himself to a job he does it 100% and has shown his commitment since he’s been here. I suppose it could be adopted to be talking about the future as it’s still the job but he’s talking about right now, in the moment, he’s always 100% in on the job.

Yeah it's more along the lines of what Mourinho said when he said he wears the pyjamas of the club he manages.

Conte was 1000% committed to Inter but walked when the owners started selling his prized silver. We have to back him sufficiently in the summer. As a fan that wants the best for the club I fully support that. He is like he is because he wants the best for club he is managing, he wants to win.

I think Romano quoting it that way is somewhat notable however in that it likely means he's hearing that it's likely he stays now.

I think the preference for 3-4-3 this season is largely down to squad composition. I think we would have seen more use of the 3-5-2 had Skipp not been injured for months or we had a #10 option like Eriksen. I think the masterplan will be to have the team well drilled in both systems and that will be the aim for Paratici in the summer to deliver upon.
I think so. The ability to switch to 3-5-2 against those teams which sit deeper will help us next season. Someone creative like Eriksen dropping in next to PEH and Bentacur.

I see no reason for him not to love it here.

The fans love him (and we’re not as plastic and entitled as the Chelsea lot).

We have cracking training facilities he gets to go into and work in every day.

We have one of the best stadiums in the world.

He has Kane and Son (and now also Kulusevski) to play with as attackers.

He should fingers crossed be getting back in summer to get players he needs in.

And then after next season we really need to continue tweaking squad and supporting him - the only reason he got pissed off at Chelsea is they rather weirdly started undermining him and selling Matic / replacing him with Babayako (not sure if that’s right but too lazy to check lol) and not getting who he wanted, which is weird as they have the money?!?

Always found it weird how Chelsea stopped backing him after he got them league title in his first season.

Aside from this summer we shouldn’t have to spend too much in subsequent summers either, just a case of adding a couple and maybe selling a couple each summer (especially if we start to qualify for champions league again).

the fans adore him. the players adore him. he knows levy will do anything to keep both the fans and the players happy, as they haven’t been the last few years. levy knows that if he doesn’t keep them happy he’ll be under serious pressure.

i have full confidence he’ll be backed. levy quite literally cannot afford not to.

Conte is definitely our last and perhaps best chance of making the "Harry Kane" era count for something (meaning, actually winning trophies). Levy either backs him fully or stops pretending to be running a football club.

By the way, I'm not really one of Kane's biggest fans, and even I recognize what he means for us and the importance of winning some trophies while he's still with us.

That Kane and son point should not be underrated.

In the premier League there are not many top goalscorers around. Let's face it, apart from Salah, Kane and son are streets ahead of the rest.

Having two strikers that bury 9/10 good chances is just ridiculous. I mean son hardly ever misses, it's freakish how good his finishing is.

Where else in the world will he find that sort of quality.

If there's one thing this club needs to learn, it's how to take advantage of a golden opportunity. Time after time we're presented with the chance and fail to turn up or balls it up. This is our last opportunity this season to make CL and we need to approach this game absolutely ready to tear them apart. We should have had a CL place done and dusted ages ago but sauntered through a bunch of games and blew the chance. The ball is firmly in Arsenal's court now but we're still in with a shout if we give it everything. Over to you Antonio.
