There's more to it than this imo . The teams that play football against us we can beat, but for last few years the teams that are intimidated by us go for Low Block and
we don't have the players who can regularly deal with this ....then one free kick/corner to a well prepared oppo and we lose.
Dont disagree with that but we dont go for them. We let them get on top from the start or just pass amongst our back 5 barely getting out of out half and never put the ball in the box. Its like we have no idea how to even try and beat a low block let alone succeed.

What an incredible manager and what a mentality he’s created in this team. Can you imagine us performing like that in this situation anytime in the past? Maybe under Poch. But wow Conte just knows how to turn a group of players into a team who believe in themselves.

Praying we keep him happy this summer and build this good start into a massive future.

Possibly a masterstroke from Conte to hook Sonny off. He'll be so fucking fired up now for Burnley and Norwich with a chance of overhauling Salah.

Doesn't matter whether we finish 4th or 5th this season, next year we're going to be a scary proposition.
Yea actually pros and cons to both tbh.

obvious pro to CL footy is the money and type of player we can attract but we attracted Kulu & Bentancur whilst we were languishing in 8th because we have Don Conte, Don Paratici and The best facilities in the country.

If we are in EL we’d have a better chance of winning it than the CL and if not then we’d be more easily able to bin it off and go for the title like when Conte won the league with Chelsea when they had no European football…

Main thing is we battered the gooners so whatever happens from here on in happy days as 4th or 5th are both decent finishes given the mess we were in and the handicap we gave ourselves by hiring Nuno in the first place .

Hands down the best manager in the premier league era but he does need to deliver something now. Top 4 this season would be a great start but if we don’t get it I hope he can keep the players spirits up because we really could do some great things next season.

Also making Klopp and Arteta look like twats in the space of a week(y)

I'm hopeful regardless of 4th or 5th the last couple of games will have convinced Conte to carry on his work here.

That is a team that is starting to play in his image. Pair that with an atmosphere like tonight and surely this is a very attractive job to try and see through to completion.
