Im done being frustrated. Other than Chelsea, we have a pretty tame fixture list left, and we are still in third. Some of the players are going to have to dig deeper to get the wins, but its totally do-able.
What else can you do but laugh when you're creating more chances than the opposition and losing? If we were being outplayed, then fair enough, but we're just on a shitty run.
The venom added to posts recently doesn't sit well at all with me, usual suspects coming across like a bunch of spoilt brats when the road gets a bit rocky. Top 4 would still be a massive achievement and don't give me all this 3rd best bullshit, spending power and wage power is key and we're a bit lacking there.
The season is far from over, chin up for fuck's sake. Thank fuck most of you weren't online in the early 90's.

You have to look at the type of chances created though. Bar Saha off the post, we didn't really trouble them. A few speculative edge of the box shots, where you really have to do much better to beat Howard, some frankly laughable skied shots (I can't wait for us to let Kaboul have another free kick) and some tame dribblers that went wide. We didn't slice them open nearly enough and their defence looked far from solid when we ran at them.
I was sitting with the Everton supporters in the main stand. I thought our support was top draw (again). The "He's Gareth Bale and he plays on the left" chant was fantastic. Never seen the crowd so frustrated that they, as one, tried to correct an obvious tactical coach up.
Starting to lose confidence in what Harry is doing tbh.
Freidel, Walker, King, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto; Modric, Parker, Sandro, Bale; Defoe, Adebayor
4-4-2 again spells trouble to me.....
Here we go again then with Harry`s 4-4-2....looks like this could be another 3pts dropped..:bang:
4-4-2 with Bale on the right? Not too happy with that. We need Bale to go back to what he's best at and running at the right backs.
Modric on the left wont get on the ball enough either. We really need him central.
Hopefully it still works and we get the much needed win. But I think we may rely on subs today.
If us idiots can see it, well that's what we are if we dare question HR, then why the bloody hell can't the coaches and manager...? All these posts were made minutes after the team news broke. 6 months hardwork to gain 10 point lead is undone in weeks, only Spurs could ever do that!!!so bale out of position, modric out of position and vdv not playing.
sigh me a river
I think you don't even know what arrogance means!yes it is arrogance u are displaying. what fucking right have we when we go and play like we have for at least last 3 matches! this run for me has been due and coming for a while and whatever u want to put it when the pressure is on big teams come to the fore. chelsea and arsenal will do what they have to do and get wins needed and only luck will see us 4th imo.
i mentined nothing about harry. he is best manager we had since bill nick imo but whilst some blame must be on his door with wrong team selection the fault is soley for me on the attitude of players.. where is the desire, the hunger, the passion ? the resilience to make this season a fantastic one.. to challenege the likes of city and united , to not give up no matter what...all the spurs players do is fucking talk about we still in this we can win league bollix. have such great players loll.. dont make me laugh. they are legends , chancers and alot of them are wasters imo who think they are better than what they really are.
we even have managers and players patronsing the shite out of us after beating us and its getting beyond joke.
in a months time i can see us 5th no probs at all and once that comes we will only fade away as usual. history has shown us what we are .
im hoping luck will get us 4th but we will see.
We were all over them for most of the game, hit the woodwork twice, they've won 3 on the bounce at home now including us and Chelsea so they're not that bad a side AND WE WERE BETTER THAN THEM.
You lot can fucking drone on about 4-4-2 this and tactics that, but we dominated that game and lost, it happens and as frustrating as it is, all your fucking crying won't solve shit. Hit the post twice against a team that got a goal against the run of play and clung on to it for dear life, a very physical, robust team who are already very hard to break down...at home.
All these 'problems' all you eagle eyed fucking budding Mourinho's can see can all be easily remedied through the training pitch? I'm glad you all fucking know so much about the game. Piss off.
And why do you think Bale played on the right, against Baines? Maybe because when P. Neville is right back he kicks the complete shite out of him. Maybe because Baines leaves more space as he goes forwards a lot.
Why do you think we played Parker and Sandro in the middle against Fellaini, Cahill and Osman? Work it fucking out.

I don't think playing Bale on the right was a tactical cock-up. Phil Neville has always had the better of Bale and even put him in the treatment room before. So deploying Bale against the attacking Baines not only created more opportunities for Bale to do damage but also pinned Baines back making it harder for Everton to attack with numbers.
I think the tactic was justified in hindsight as we were dominant for large periods and restricted Everton to few chances. As a coach that is all your tactics can do. They can't dictate whether a chance is taken or not but they can influence how many chances there are and we had enough to win that game.
If Saha had put away that chance at the death the reaction would be very different. After all, Adebayor was struggling and we looked a better team when Saha replaced him. No one has mentioned that Redknapp made a good substitution or the fact that we controlled a game away from hom. How many sides can do that?
