Stoke will bully us off the park and then try and break limbs when they see the ref is allowing them to. We don't have the stomach for a fight.

I'd take a draw and no injuries right now.

I was having a discussion yesterday with another Spurs fan and we both agreed that Harry's biggest weakness has been squad rotation in the second half of the season. We seem to have too many players that are now either mentally or physically fatigued, and fringe players out of form because they aren't getting game time.

united comfortably beat us. we created no chances

arsenal battered us first and second half by creating openings and chances every 2 or 3 minutes. passed right thru us at will with little resistance

we had a couplw of harmless efforts from defoe at start of second half and a saha sitter in 94th thats its..

huge difference and i dont get harry talking nonsense at all.. thats teh first time i heard rubbish coming from him to such a large extent.. we got well beat and deservely so..

i must be watching way different games to alot of people on here.. from first minute to the last i thought we were pathetic, no real desire or hunger to get 3 points.

if players dont give a shite we have no chance. the majority just talk the talk and dont walk the walk.

Is it possible that Harry is stuck in the past when it come to squad rotation. Back when he was a player am I right in thinking there were no subs or only 1 sub and that a squad of 14/15 would do the season?

Don't do it Daniel don't offer Harry a new contract, instead shake his hand come may and show him the door.

Spurs and Liverpool - both registered 3 league defeats in a row today. It does suggest Sours are looking a bit mid-table.

well i wud not go that far.. the bottom line is spurs are getting found out and dont have the players to make a difference when it really counts.. big teams are now sniffing blood and bar the brilliance of a couple of players from us we are struggling in a big way but we need to get lucky very lucky and hope if harry stays he can get another 3 or 4 players in summer and drop few of these super stars to the bench ala defoe.

for the majority it boils down the players who simply arent all that, not by a long shot but harry does make the odd wrong team selection but hindsight like today is great.

I disagree, we have the talent for 3rd, and higher imo. It's time they were coached and worked until they puke. They need drilling on the training ground and if they squeal like bitches again, then fuck them off because that mentality is garbage and exactly the one we need to get away from. A burning desire to win, or more probably a overwhleming fear of losing, needs to course through the players.

This loosey goosey bollox is all well and good but you also need discipline, massive amounts of energy and a coherent gameplan, for each game you play.

I can't see why Harry can't do this, so this is not a "fuck off I hate your smelly face" post but if he is unwilling to do this or the coaching staff he has put in place is unable to then it needs changing.

The amount of talent we have has dragged us into the top 4 so far but the lack of everything else might drag us back out of it and considering the sheer difficulty a club like ours has in attracting truly top class players, to throw away all the yrs of hard work and clever dealing by DL et al in assembling the squad over something so basic would be criminal and could be disastrous for the club for the next 5 to 10 yrs.

I agree with this, the bit in bold sums it up really. We have the talent but we dont apply ourselves well enough to fulfil the potential.

I said last year that we dont get anywhere near 100% out of the the resources (players) we have available, back then we were in 5th. Upgrading in certain positions has given us a boost but the same old problems are still there and threaten to ruin another seaon that showed lots of promise.

Hard work is needed, you cant rely solely on natural talent.

We will never be more than a 3/4 place team. Even with remy or hazzard or bloody messi. Its not in our mindset to go through a season putting teams away like Utd do. We'll be a cup team always because our team and management always think short term. Falling apart and not even in style. Pathetic performance tonight.

this

i got called a mug for even suggesting this but wait till shit hits fan at end of season when harry leaves and we dont get top 4... fun and games will start then with the better players in team!!

Arrogance? You're a mug mate. 'No chance of 4th' ??? Regardless of the last 3 games we are still sitting in 3rd - yes that's right 3rd. Not 13th.
I don't dispute that things are looking a bit ropey at the moment but no chance of 4th? Don't know why we bother turning up at all. Fuck it with Harry at the helm we'll be in the 4th division in 4 years time.

Harry needs to take responsibility for the last 3 games. No point in just blaming the same players that have been playing well most of the season. Simple fact is if you play players out of position you will not get the best out of them, today Modric was on the left and Bale on the right - two of our best players out of position. Harry has taken his eye off the ball, his team selection / tactics and substitutions (against Utd the timings) in the last 3 games have been shocking to say the least.

It is hard to comment on performances as I am still in New Zealand and have not seen the games. However, I said many months ago that, on paper, we have at least the 3rd best squad in the Premiership and if Harry was the great manager many think then we should finish in the top three. Don,t like the reports of him joking about these defeats, it is time he took some of the responsibility, he always likes to take the praise.
So we should finish third, IMO if we don't it reflects on Harry's abilities as a mananger.

What else can you do but laugh when you're creating more chances than the opposition and losing? If we were being outplayed, then fair enough, but we're just on a shitty run.

The venom added to posts recently doesn't sit well at all with me, usual suspects coming across like a bunch of spoilt brats when the road gets a bit rocky. Top 4 would still be a massive achievement and don't give me all this 3rd best bullshit, spending power and wage power is key and we're a bit lacking there.

The season is far from over, chin up for fuck's sake. Thank fuck most of you weren't online in the early 90's.

yes it is arrogance u are displaying. what fucking right have we when we go and play like we have for at least last 3 matches! this run for me has been due and coming for a while and whatever u want to put it when the pressure is on big teams come to the fore. chelsea and arsenal will do what they have to do and get wins needed and only luck will see us 4th imo.

i mentined nothing about harry. he is best manager we had since bill nick imo but whilst some blame must be on his door with wrong team selection the fault is soley for me on the attitude of players.. where is the desire, the hunger, the passion ? the resilience to make this season a fantastic one.. to challenege the likes of city and united , to not give up no matter what...all the spurs players do is fucking talk about we still in this we can win league bollix. have such great players loll.. dont make me laugh. they are legends , chancers and alot of them are wasters imo who think they are better than what they really are.

we even have managers and players patronsing the shite out of us after beating us and its getting beyond joke.

in a months time i can see us 5th no probs at all and once that comes we will only fade away as usual. history has shown us what we are .

im hoping luck will get us 4th but we will see.

if jelavic doesn't score, do you really think the 2nd half would've panned out exactly as it did today? to me, everton knew all they had to do now was sit back and protect the lead, they knew their was little threat from the left, they knew bale is of little threat from the right, they knew sandro and parker are hardly going to be making defence-splitting through balls anytime soon. we really didn't look like doing anything until rafa came on and even then it took us until the 94th minute to create a noteworthy chance.

as for the latter part of your post, it just smacks of little tottlander mentality. it's ok to blow a 10 point lead as we were punching above our weight to be there in the first place
