Lots of positives. Lots of worries.

I think Eriksen is one of our most important players. But when he plays like that, as he does 40% of the time, it really really shows. Him asking for 150k a week (if true) is a joke. Earn it fam, or fuck off.

Alli needs to sort his shit out fast or get dropped.

Lamela is going to fucking smash it this season.

Kane looked good.

Janssen looks GREAT.

We were infinitely better after going to one DM, and a draw at Goodison isn't a terrible result. That being said playing with a one man central midfield doesn't seem like a sustainable strategy. We have to figure out how to play without Dembele somehow.

No matter what anyone say, We still need two more attacking players if we really want to compete in all competition this season !!

Second half performance after Janssen came on was much better. We deserved to shade it though.

Dele is the new Memphis. Change of shirt name, then bewitched, bothered and bewildered...

All I know is that Janssen really should be starting for us, adds so much. And yes without Dembele, the centre of our midfield just looks a bit weak and certainly bland.

Eriksen looking very replaceable to be honest, of course not in terms of selling but his performances shouldn't warrant a guaranteed start thing is we don't really have much to challenge him.

Satisfied with the point. Everton looked like they were successfully West Haming us. Don't think two defensive midfielders work for us, and I think this was our main problem. Janssen looked class. We have a lot of work to do but it was not a game without positives.

On a side not how do you only get 3 minutes added time when Everton where time wasting from about 20 minutes in.

Not a great game, but I said I'd take it before the game, and I am happy to take it now.

Eriksen, Kane and Alli was really poor. If we are starting with one striker next game it should be Janssen based on this game but that won't happen. Thought Wanyama looked pretty good except for giving away one or two freekicks, did what he is supposed to do. Vertonghen looked really shaky but that is normal since he just got back from injury. Overall a pretty boring game, not much good football on display. Guess a draw is fair.

Well played Lamela. Given the line up Everton had and how we were clearly the better side once we started playing you could argue its two points dropped.

Taken a draw before the game though.

Conceding soft early goals has got to stop

Bit rusty, to be expected. Many players coming back late due to the Euro's. Both new signings played well, Walker still has brain farts but did well for the goal.

Once we'd scored, there was only one winner. Overall we're 1 point better off than last year, so could do better but not a disaster
