Disappointing result and performance really but at least we didn't get beat. Onwards and upwards

Our CM was shite all game, the same players shouldn't be starting in the next match

Everton away is always difficult. Opening day of the season away is always difficult.

We played poor in the first half but were back up to speed in the second half so under the circumstances happy with that result.

Still should of had too much for them, had we put more into the first half. Much better second half but can't help feel a touch frustrated.

Gone from being outplayed to being disappointed not to get a win, fucking Everton wasting time at the end, must have literally wasted 6 or 7 mins the scrubs.

Anyway, draw away at Everton not bad for first game of the season.

Much better second half. Better intensity and pace. Change in formation helped a lot.

Happy with a point. Goodison never an easy place to go.

90 more minutes in the legs of players that came back late. Hopefully Lloris not out for too long.

Disappointed with the first half and very worried about Lloris.

But there's many positives to take. Lamela and Janssen were great.

Point and dominant team at Everton is not to be sniffed at. But still look like a side looking for a winning mentality. We didnt need to spar with them for 60 mins, we should have just come out swinging and punched their heads off from the start.

Janssen and Lamela will be the players this season.
