Really hope this happens. I do love it when the likes of Giggs and Campbell throw their hat in the ring for big Premier league management roles, just on the basis they were good players. They never seem to be interested in the lesser positions, which tells me their sense of entitlement is bigger than their desire to manage a football club. Now Neville thinks he deserves a shot, priceless.

Exactly. I was glad to see that Paul Scholes seemed like he genuinely wanted the Oldham job as it's that sort of job the ex-pro's should prove themselves at. Look at Pippo Inzaghi getting promoted with Venezia for example.Giggs retired from playing three and a half years ago since when I'd guess 75% of lower division clubs have changed their manager, i wonder how many of them he has applied for or how many he has rejected, not knocking in particular but it always amazes me how these guys don't get that once retired all they are is ex players starting from scratch, he needs to do his apprentiship first.
If anything history should tell us that great players don't make great managers, i think Everton are smart enough to know that too.
Anyone thinking that they wont challenge for 4th is nuts. They have always been tough to beat Barkley will not be a great loss and if they manage to sign Rooney and Sigurdson with their experience I expect them to take points off all the contenders including us
Them and West Ham would be pretty funny. It would be very weird seeing Everton in the Championship. Still haven’t got used to Villa being in it.
Only because they're the only ever-present in the top flight in the last 25 years who we've usually been better than.Enjoy them suffering but don't want them relegated. I think they might be the team we've gotten the most points against down the years.
I reckon Koeman's watching this in his pants, with a KFC bucket, laughing his arse off.
