Nope, saying HUGHTON now... :violin:

I still don't understand his sacking either. Maybe he fell on his sword over Andy Carroll? Doesn't matter - both Hughton and DiMatteo are capable managers

The man who's name is worth keeping an eye on is Dan Ashworth. He's their DoF/S. A brilliant guy by all accounts and very clearly brought in Di Matteo (plus their plethora of clever signings) but the sacking must have been his decision or at least he'd have had to be party to it. Unless rumours of him taking over from Arnesen at Chelsea (yes, his rep is that good) are true and Peace wants to bring in a new manager and DOF or change the structure.

Hodgson in. Statrs after this weekend's matches. I wonder what West Brom fans think of it when there are Managers like Martim Jol, Martin O'Neill knocking around and kicking their heels. MJ played for West Brom too....

I'm sure they'll look at Woy's Fulham record and think 'yea, he can do a job' rather than focus on the last six months of Scouse hell.

Wouldn't mind Di Matteo in some sort of coaching role with us but I imagine he would want to get back into management.
