Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has asked chairman Daniel Levy not to block a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain this month.
PSG were keen to sign Alli during the summer and their interest in the Englishman has only grown following the hiring of Mauricio Pochettino, who turned Alli into one of the game's most-exciting young midfielders during his time with Spurs.

It's a shame it hasn't worked out the way we would have liked it. On his day he was an amazing player but we haven't seen that in awhile. Hope we get a shed load of cash for him. Thank you for the memories FFS..... I mean Dele.

Imagine the carnage in here if he goes there at rips it up.
He needs to get the love and hunger back in his game and don't look like he can or wants to here so best for him to go on loan and seewhat happens, maybe he will get it back at PSG and returns to Spurs with a new lease of life or not. either way many here can't complain, only Dele will have the answer if he goes and works hard enough.

If Dele is not even making the bench we should be actively looking for a loan option for him. Mainly to protect his value. Worst case it doesn’t pan out, nothing changes. Best case, he tears it up, restoring his value for a big sale or to welcome back a player in form, with point proven with some good experience,.
Keeping him at home doesn’t help anyone

What carnage? If Dele goes and smashes 50 goals alongside M'bappe and Neymar,it has no bearing on how Spurs do this season.I hope when he does leave he excel's,I don't have animosity towards him. I want what's best for Spurs if Dele is replaced by someone that better fit's us and help's us achieve our aims that's a win/win in my book. What I do know the current circumstances are not viable towards a happy ending. It is possible to wish Dele all the best ,whilst understanding a parting of the ways might be the only way for Spurs and Dele to achieve future success.

If folk want to belly box over Dele tearing Ligue 1 up great, fantastic. Won't change the fact at this juncture in Dele's career he's not killing it for Spurs. He really could have played a major role if only he'd stepped up as other's have and continue to do so.

Will he not? I am sure he will, definitely. If even Moise Kean can do so well there, there is no doubt Dele will be even better.

Dele is not a bad player, I guess we all knew that - he is a fantastic player in fact. But the environment and setup here now is just no longer suitable, or shall I say, adaptable, for him anymore. If he doesn't feel the love here, and if he is not making the effort to feel loved, there will be no happy story here.

I just don't understand why this whole saga is seen as though Dele is being victimised when he has the choice to turn things around. But I get your point on the carnage, because there will still be a handful here gonna put this as one of the 59,364 blames on Mourinho.

I think Mourinho wants the money now and will be looking to bring in someone who fits his system.

Definitely. And he'll be telling Levy that we're not City nor Chelsea and we can't afford to have a player worth circa £50m outside the first team nucleus.
Hard to disagree.

Yes, As long as we can sell him for a meaningful value that Levy is happy with and gives Jose enough to get a player he wants!

Not sure we will get close to the rumoured £50m mark though,

Loan is a must if we can't sell

Prices will most likely be similarly depressed across the board for players in similar situations. Even if we get what looks like a low fee for Dele, there should be bargains out there that would fit the bill.

Exactly - if we only get, say £35m for Dele, but we can get (pure example) Dybala for £35m then it's all relative.

All the best to Dele. Was good for a long time just seemed to reach a level he was happy with.
Shame he couldn't put the necessary work in to be a part of the first team on match day but hope he learns from it for HIS future,

They would have to deal with Levy so don't start buying your "Enjoy your retirement" cards yet.
Maybe a loan with a reasonable fee could be done and Jose bring in a player he won't pick on. (Not knocking him it is just his way)

For those saying let him go, who would you replace him with? Imo if he goes this window he won't be replaced till the Summer. Don't get me wrong I don't think he will play much if he stays and wouldn't stand in his way, but if people think just him going will lead to a CM incoming it won't.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

It's always a shame to see talent not fully realised.

Agreed. I just think that it's a shame to have a frustrated player hanging around.

Yeah I'd let him go replacement or not. Loan ideally, but if anyone is going to pay above current market value it will be the likes of PSG.

He doesn't seem to want to fight for his place so he might as well leave. The fact he's asking to be allowed to leave rather cements my thoughts.
Such a shame he's not willing to do what Jose wants him to. Would be such an asset to our squad,
