Paris Saint-Germain want to keep Mauricio Pochettino as manager in a stance that will likely block any sensational return to Tottenham Hotspur.

How can you block a manager from going he can just resign

They could trigger the option and then Poch couldnt sign for another club for 2 seasons, he would have to buy out his remaining contract, and as far as I know PSG would have to accept.

If PSG want Zidane and know we want Poch, they will just wait for us to move fist so we have to pay to get him, rather than sack him for Zidane and we get Poch for free.

I wonder how much we saved getting rid of Jose without a trophy, and his re-employment elsewhere... and how much we would need compensation to get Poch out of his contract?

If this happens on the 2nd June, my wife will be pissed as it will no longer be our anniversary date but the day Poch returned... It's bad enough her birthday is the same day as Tottenham ?

Off the top of my head would have paid 30 million to Jose of we were in qualifying position for Europe (top 6, or cup win I guess) and when we sacked him I think they said we would pay considerable less than the 30 million. Not sure how much though.

We also need to pay about 4 million a year to him while at Roma to make up for lower wage I think.

Why the fuck do we have to pay him 4m a year to manage Roma? He'll have got his compensation package from us (when what he really needed was a kick up the arse on the way out).

We are obviously not ensuring full wages for Mourinho on top of a massive payout. Why the hell would we?

It's not full pay, it's the difference from what he would have got with us and what he is getting. I am guessing we agreed that we would still pay his contract (his payout) for another year or if he gets another job the difference. From a quick look it is just one year that it's meant to be for.

Zidane to PSG is very unlikely. He's from Marseille and that would be seen as a serious betrayal of his home town.

Jeez! Where else could you make such a massive fuck up of your job, leave the place in an utter shambles and walk away with a deal that guarantees you millions. Football really is quite absurd at times. Didn't think I could dislike him any more but I was WRONG!!
He's been paid something like £90m in pay offs alone. Crazy!
