Been clubbing twice, absolutely hate everything about it.
Yesterday night I went for dinner in town and as I walked
past 1 club there was blood all over the floor and up the wall.
No idea what happened.
Hope this guy recovers and those responsible are
caught.

I went to Uni in Southampton not so long ago and this nightclub was particularly unsavoury. The staff were the most friendly bunch you could ever wish to meet and always willing to help in any way wherever they could. Yeah, right.
There was a similar story not so long ago involving are ex-reserve team favourite, Lee Barnard who got embroiled in an altercation outside what was Whitehouse nightclub. They seem to love it down there!

A friend got his face smashed in last week outside a club in ascot, he wasnt even fighting, just trying to stop these guys beating some random guy up.

My gf always moans that I never want to go out but when crap like this happens I feel just.

I wish him speedy recovery. I hate the clubbing scene now but I am an old codger. It was the same in my day and there was normally always a punch up outside the clubs I used to go to. Alcohol + Blokes= Aggro

Used to go clubbing for about 2 years, then just got bored and fed up of the whole scene. Too many thugs just looking for a fight.

Hope he recovers well.

Pretty much the same as me, first two years of Uni I was out pretty much all the time, then I got fed up with it. Now I only really go out when there's some sort of special event going on, or very occasionally a club that likes to play a bit of proper rock n' roll. Can't stand the douchefests that are Tiger Tiger or similar, virtually every person in those places is a douchebag.

If the lad didn't start the fight I wish him all the best and hope he recovers and can get back on the pitch soon. But if he did start it, I hope he recovers obviously but also hope he takes a long hard look at himself, because he needs to.

I went to different sorts of clubs than most of you guys it seems. Alcohol wasn't the drug at the choice at the clubs I used to frequent in my yoof.

I'm from Southampton and I go to that club regularly, was in there on the Tuesday just gone and I wasn't even surprised hearing this news. That club is generally fine but Southampton in general can be littered with chavs as being the reason I'm not surprised.

By the time my days of clubbing were drawing to a close, i found it was less blokes+alcohol, and more blokes/women(or any combination of)+alcohol+coke=aggro.

The trendy, socialite drug of choice, cocaine, often seems to be the tipping point, which always makes me glad, in a sick sort of way, that it allows me to justify my decision to never do that shit. In my experience, perfectly nice and normal people turn into demon arseholes when they do.

Funny that as I was always very mellow on the peruvian but turn a bit strange on certain types of booze. I stopped going clubbing when I was about 25 so thats a good 10 years ago. I found that there was just as much barley in the pubs I went to as the clubs and yes it did cause aggro. These days I tend to sit at home with my pipe (crack) and slippers with an intravenous drip in my arm attached to a vat of moonshine.

Feel sorry for the fella but footballer's are known for giving it the big 'I am', the Wilshere incident which resulted in a girl getting her arm broke kicked off because he said 'come with us we've got more money'. Not saying same case here but if they wanna be a big man they have to accept the consquences

I've only just noticed this, I hope he's ok, it's a shit thing to happen.

Obviously as I'm becoming old like my mate RV, I haven't been clubbing for severalyears, but problems like this was dependent on what type of club you went to. Obviously cheesy clubs with cheesy music invited this sort of trouble, but clubs that were just various types of dance music that we drank water instead of beer in and took vast amounts of chemicals, never really had any trouble.

Back in the day the bits and pieces used to be clean, uncut if you like. Everyone wanted to be your mate and you would chat bollox for ages to a complete stranger. Now its coke and normally cut with god only knows, People are drinking shed loads and honking it up there blower which leads to charged up pissed nutters. Only clubs i like going to are the gentlemens clubs. Never any trouble, and you always get to see a nice pair or ten...
