Ajax may have to go into account the departure of Daley Blind. The left-cum-midfielder is common interest in a Premier League club, in the London Evening Standard that has brought out.

The Dutch international, according to the aforementioned media interest in front of Tottenham Hotspur. The Spurs would prefer to want to strengthen Fábio Coentrao, but so far have not managed the club to take Real Madrid. On the left

I thought this was an article about the Daily Mail finally acknowledging their myopic nature and their poor spelling.

I'm sure I remember his dad playing, and I'm not especially old.

Then again Teddy Sheringham's kid is mid-career at Wimbledon these days

I thought that but then later realised I was thinking of Danny Blind. Oops.

:ROFLMAO:

Worst video ever.

the first 2:30 minutes he can hardly do a thing right. Then there's 2 goals he scored repeated 4 times each. Then he's lifting the shield for winning the league. Then the video finishes with him knocking the shield over.

Is someone taking the piss? :ROFLMAO:

One thing I don't especially enjoy is how most transfer threads turn into boring jokes about the name.

Blind really is a good LB, has pace and a really good workrate. Recently capped for the Netherlands iirc. IMO we could use another LB so he would be a good choice, plays for Ajax as well so would link with Vert/Eriksen. Boilesen is also good so I doubt they'd be super reluctant to sell.

I would say he is adequate, he would fill the spot well, but most certainly wouldn't light the league on fire. He's been playing DM this year though, more-so than LB (Boilesen has played there in bigger matches). I am not all to sure that he would want to go back to that position.

He plays LB for the national team though. And Boilesen is constantly getting injured

Blind has plated 10 games at LB and 8 at DM. In those 10 games at LB Ajax have lost 5 but won every game he has played at DM. There might have no relation what-so-ever but thought it was interesting.

Left backs I want us to sign in order of preference:

Alex Sandro (tied 1st choice)
Ricardo Rodriguez (tied 1st choice)
Shaw
Oczipka
Davies
