Yesterday on twitter - they guy Midas who was pretty reliable said Conte liked an attacker that wasn’t Ziyech. It was deleted rather swiftly however, maybe have been sensitive.
Conte said he liked Rashford at the beginning of the window, didn’t he?

An inside right that likes to cut in, creates and chips in with goals?….I’d say he’s perfect and a perfect rotation option for how we play.
Every other player we have been linked with there is a strong pacey dribbler.

I like ziyech and agree he is a great fit but he doesn't seem to fit the profile for whatever reason.

Its a very valid point, but if you take out the Roman ownership era, a man who Levy couldn't stand etc, its not THAT far back. Question will be whether Boehly/Paratici care at all for that nonsense, if it gets them both what they ultimately want.
Get your point as well but we haven't done business with a club like West Ham since Scott Parker signed either over 10 years ago, don't think any signing between our three rivals will happen again for a long time.

I just don’t see it personally. The ziyech at ajax was a star who ran games, but since coming here he has shown only glimpses. He is almost 30, found it relatively difficult in this league and he is a bit part at chelsea and He would be 5th in the list in our pecking order. Granted he would get game time due to the nature of our season but he would hardly be able to get a consistent run and play himself into some form. Most importantly he has looked lazy and disinterested whilst he has been at the chavs which conte would hate.

if it were a cheap gamble at say 10million i would say why not and lets see if conte can get him playing like he was 3 years ago, but our historic relationship with chelsea (bohely will be no mug and not want to piss the fans off) means i cant see it being done for anything under 30million. For that price i would avoid him.

Any attacking player would struggle under the Tuchel system. Tuchel basically went there and reinstalled Conte's system and it immediately made them more solid at the back, helping them win the Champions League because, at that point, he hadn't yet had time to suck all the spark, creativity and flair out of their attacking players.

I don't think its likely at all, but I think theres a chance because its a player a team maybe doesn't want. I don't think West Ham would have any issue selling us their dross, but we always want the best ones!

Always felt that we should've signed Ziyech when Lampard snagged him when at Chelsea. I was gutted at the time and he's been wasted there. We were heavily linked and iirc Van der Vaart recommended we sign him.

Sweet left foot, quality player who's ability is now in question because Chelsea are weird and can't seem to work out who they want to play in their front 3. He would be a very good rotation option for Kulu, particularly if Lucas ends up leaving with his links to Galatasary.

Appreciate the whole "we dont deal with Chelsea" but that was under Roman. If Boehly wants to move the player on and Ajax deal fell through, we might be the only option.

I think he would be an interesting option if the fee and salary are right. But given we would be buying from Chelsea both would probably be high. Even if Chelsea are willing to deal I imagine we would be looking at maybe £50m in combined fee and salary for a player pushing 30 who is very talented but has seemingly struggled to live up to his earlier Ajax form.

I wouldn’t count Ajax out yet now that the Ocampos deal has fallen through. I can 100% see them going back in unless Chelsea ask for something crazy. And I’m sure HZ would prefer to go back to Ajax and be a starter.

I'd take him, although I can see Chelsea agreeing the deal to then pulling the plug at 10.58pm tomorrow evening!

Love him and would be amazing addition but absolutely 0 chances this happens, they won’t sell to us.

Paper talk.

Kulu was back-up at Juve.
Yes... but he came here thinking he could be number 1 choice on the right... :) ... if we say to Ziyech... "we want you as a back up to Kulusevski" ... I don't think his answer will be positive. But let's see.

Ziyech could likely get infront of Kulu if he was to give 100%, the guy is a really quality player

He's a good player, perfect rotation for us and the type of quality we should be aiming for but he's nowhere near Kulusevski's level.

Well there's not a bloody chance we'd be saying that to anyone
