We’ve been terrible in the final third but those being harsh on Skipp need a bit of perspective.

I think he’s been a big part of a dominant midfield performance. It’s those around him that haven’t done enough.

Foyth is so talented too
He's done his job very well. He isn't a creator, more of a stopper who can get the ball moving again. So to judge him based on not creating is harsh.

Well, that is incredibly disappointing. Really thought we had a chance of getting a cup this year and it looked like Poch was taking it seriously too. Injuries halted that but even so.

Firstly, Poch got his set-up totally wrong. Why so defensive? When we play with 3 CBs and two DMs, we clearly invite pressure and we can't keep the ball high up the pitch as the transition is too slow.

Secondly, Llorente is done, a hat trick against Tranmere doesn't change the fact that his lack of movement severely hinders us. How lucky we are to have Harry.

I thought our intensity was much better second half, just like Chelsea, but the problem is we don't have anyone ruthless enough on the pitch. Too many need an extra touch or aren't comfortable on their weaker foot. Compared to Kane, Alli, Son and Eriksen, who all feel comfortable in front of goal there's a massive gulf. Lamela's strong point isn't his finishing, it's making something happen, unfortunately the likes of Nkoudou and Llorente don't offer the movement or presence to make good use of it.

Foyth was superb and had Zaha's number, excellent reading of the game gives us great hope for the future. Sanchez a little shaky at times but I think he just needs a consistent run and not to be played in a 3.

Skipp did well. KWP did better as the game went on and I still would like him to be given faith as the RB.

Lucas needs to impose himself much much more, perhaps he's still recovering but he's not doing enough IMO.

Tripper, no words.

Incredibly disappointed as another season goes by without a trophy.

Said after the United game that it felt like we were at a crossroads. We've now lost 3 of the last 4 and had to rely on a last minute winner to beat a poor Fulham team.

We will be in a real dogfight with Chelsea, United and Arsenal to finish top 4.

The lack of depth is seriously poor. Even Palace had a stronger bench than us today - and we started Skipp, KWP, GKN & Foyth.

Need (proper!) reinforcements immediately.

And please, no more talk of "the project" - it's about winning things. Nothing else matters. Nothing else gets remembered in the long run. Glory Days = Silverware.

Our attacking is so bloody slow, it gives the opponents to get all their players behind the ball. Then our clueless attackers try to play 1 yard passes in amongst all the legs. Time and time again we piss around at the edge of the box until we lose the ball.
I have always stuck up for Lamela and Trippier, but I am had it with the pair of them. Trippier has been abysmal for weeks, stupid passes giving the ball away all the time. Lamela is so easy to defend against as he is the most ridiculously one-footed player I can remember.

Unsurprisingly toothless, not really a shock. We'd better beat Watford or I'll be really pissed.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting this ( I’m certainly not) but he has made a massive mistake prioritising Watford at home in the league vs palace away in the cup.
Football is about glory winning thing being adventurous not finishing 4 in the league

We don't seem to have any money at all, Champions League nets us a minimum of 60 million, F.A cup is fuck all. There's a reason we choose to secure top4.

Positives ,Foyth , Gazzanigga and 4 less games to play.

How is Gazzanigga a positive? I've liked him in general but he made a major error in midweek, again today should really have kept the first goal out having got a hand to the initial shot, and having looked promising at penalties has had some shocking attempts at saving them. Well below his par so far for us.

Very poor, little up front & Skipp was very average, although with so many of the so called senior players playing poorly as well it's difficult to have ago at the younger ones. Still halftime should have been 2-2 or at least 2-1, but in the 2nd half we were just poor & our finishing was very average.

We best finish top 4 now after throwing the cups away.
serious question marks have to be asked otherwise, especially if what @JJetset is true that Poch is the one blocking signings.

Feel sick even saying this but I’d honestly rather watch Mrs Brown’s Boys than sit through a performance like that again.

I would like foyth to go out on loan for half a season to get some real minutes. The same with kwp and skipp. Playing only a couple games a season is not good.

I’d rather we keep KWP as our first choice RB.

We need to keep Foyth playing with this team. Toby may leave in the summer and Jan isn’t getting any younger, so we need cover until we get an additional new CB.

Unfortunately, I think we are accelerating towards the point where the best team we have had in my lifetime (not the team played today) will be broken up...
