Skipp maybe for the reasons you outline but as I type this he just gets a yellow for a crap tackle....

Maybe it is my frustration that our midfield seem to be outplayed in every match at the moment to accommodate a formation which doesn't appear to work.

And I get that. 2 in cm does not work for us. But we lack options at the moment.

But I don't think Sarr or White will do anything in a 2 if they come on.

Alongside Bentancur he’s been decent, unfortunately Bissouma hasn’t been on it this season and Skipp shouldn’t be anywhere near the pitch right now but fair point.

He does look better with Bentacur I agreed. Bentancur in comparison could get into the top teams midfield because he is calm, composed, forward thinking, aware of what is going on around him and again seems to have added some attacking intent into his play.

Bissouma I have hopes for but has as yet not displayed a level of consistency. I don't know whether that is on him, it feels like a lot of players are still not comfortable with the tactics that are being enforced by Conte.
