Andros Townsend would make a good stop gap signing until the end of the season.
Sorry, but there was no "totally mental opinions" thread, so had to post it here. Though, I am serious.
Sorry, but no part of me wants to see Conte again.A part of me is intrigued to see what a Conte team with Porro and Udogie would look like.
We've seen how we struggle with some key players out, and how City can barely play football without Rodri.
Conte having Sessegnon/Davies and Emerson Royal as the two players in the two most important positions in his system must have hamstrung him somewhat.
His Chelsea and Inter teams scored bags of goals with attacking wingbacks.
Hence the thread titleSorry, but no part of me wants to see Conte again.
Life is better under Ange.
Hence the thread title
Why?Antony shouldn’t be a professional footballer
If you hadn't written that post we'd have forgotten all about the Spursy tag and Ange would have guided us to the title after instilling an unheard of level of confidence in the team.Butterfly effect, that Pedro Medes over the line goal against Roy Carroll at Old Trafford is given, we beat Man.U away for first time in years, shed the Spursy tag, go from strength to strength, a few years later lasagnegate never happens and then a few years after that we win a league title.
Sliding doors/butterfly effect moments.
As long as he don't wear a Spurs shirt who gives a fuck!Antony shouldn’t be a professional footballer
If you’re half decent ware not distracted by multiple competitions, then if you can stay injury free you’re always in with a shout. The year Villa won the league they used about 13 players, pretty much all of whom were bang average. We genuinely could've won the league this year if the Chelsea injuries hadn't happened.
The problem with Conte was never the attack. It was our defence. And the only addition we've made to the back line is VDV and I don't think he'd be suitable under ConteA part of me is intrigued to see what a Conte team with Porro and Udogie would look like.

That one Romero tackle cost us not just that game but possibly the sort of crazy momentum and belief that leads to such things as a title chargeWe genuinely could've won the league this year if the Chelsea injuries hadn't happened.
I don't even like reading his name on here. The guy was a stain on this football club during his time here. My least favourite Spurs manager in my lifetime.Sorry, but no part of me wants to see Conte again.

Sherwood will always have that spot for me.I don't even like reading his name on here. The guy was a stain on this football club during his time here. My least favourite Spurs manager in my lifetime.
I had erased him from my memory.Sherwood will always have that spot for me.
