I would sell lamela and buy both chris wood and josh king ... They would both improve our squad depth and attack massively ... Both are very very good all round footballer and massively underrated .. I always saw king as a better all round footballer than Lamela ...

Bergwjin, son, king, moura as wing/forward role and kane/wood for striker role would make our attack more flexible and well rounded ...

Why would anyone spend money on lamela?

Chris Wood is represented by Base Soccer Agency, who I believe have represented quite a few Spurs players over the years.

Also @Rob - the thread title is 'Chris Woods', not 'Chris Wood'. Soz for being a pedant.
Transfermarkt saying they have Dele, Rose and Marcus Edwards

Im struggling to get excited by any of those three. Being back up to Kane requires to have a player that is super strong mentally, that can come in and perform straight off the bat. Our scouts will have to work out which is the best psychologically as all three of those ability wise are pretty similar. I don’t think there is that much between them.

Don't think we're going to be excited by any sort of back up.

But yes, they're all good options for this role.

ask him to bring hist mate Mcneil who is a proper player and would be a very good signing

Wood has a decent record against us scored his first Burnley goal against us at Wembley late equaliser and I am sure he has scored a few others

Could be a decent buy for a rotation option, depending on the fee ofc.

Right so you have no idea about the mentality of any of the players linked yet you're not too keen on them because of their mentality. Makes sense.

That’s not what I said is it. I said I can’t get excited by them them, not that I’m not keen on them. As for their mentality, I never questioned that. I think you need to read things properly.

Not overly excited by woods tbf. Everyone will be soon moaning at the long ball game like last season. Prefere Josh King.

Can anyone point me to the potential ITK on this one?
Saw him play versus my old club Cabinteely for New Zealand back in July 2017 and he barely moved but scored twice.
If it's a target man Jose wants as back up then could do worse

HG, proven goalscorer at this level, in his prime but with a good few years left in him, strong as fuck, great in the air and a shithouser too.

Best striker link we’ve had so far.

I do worry about his link up play though. A worrying amount of offsides too.

He scores goals for a very direct Burnley team playing to his strengths. Doesn't mean he'll do it here

I personally think it's better to watch his goals for Leeds, even if I would somewhat understand the argument that's it Championship football. One thing I notice is his movement in the box. I think he could be of really good use if we can improve our wide play and deliver well into the box.

Watching those goals looks a lot like Llorente, as in needing lots of crossing, who honestly was terrible for us for 95% of his time on the field.

I still like Wilson the most out of all the links.
