It will be interesting to see how the tactics emerge. There is a chance that playing three passing midfielders could enable us to slip the ball through to our two quick, small attackers. If Lloris routinely kicks long, we won't be trying to do that.

A great deal of our difficulties in the earlier stages of recent matches has been our midfielders being unable to retain the ball under pressure. That really should not be a problem for these players, but it is and it's not clear why. Let's see if there are signs of change today.
