Not most likely.
We are definitely in Pot 2

Pot 1 has Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern, PSG, Zenit
Pot 2 has Real, Atletico, Dortmund, Napoli, Shakhtar, Spurs, Benfica and Ajax if they qualify (Lyon if they don't)
Biggest Pot 3 teams will be Valencia, Inter, Leverkusen and Lyon (if Ajax qualify)
Pot 4 biggest teams are Leipzig, Atalanta, Loko Moscow, Galatasaray (but nothing really that we shouldn't beat)

Psg might be good. I can leave my house and be in paris in just over 2 hours. Would probably be a day trip though.

I'd take any of the pot one teams we can get on their current form, Barca, Bayern and PSG all look vulnerable. Inter are the team I really want to avoid, I think Conte will get them playing much better than last year and we only scraped past!

I look at it as going to the games rather than whether we win or not. We should be good enough to get out of the group whoever we draw.

I find it nuts that Ajax were literally one second from getting to the final, and now they have to go through the qualifiers. Surely they should be straight through to the groups.

Their own suggestion to the Champions league is exactly that. Teams should be put in the group stage based on their last performance, not their position in the league. Something like that.

I'm buzzing for this, Wouldn't mind facing PSG/Bayern as I've seen neither live yet and back us to hold our own. Agree with @Marty Inter I'm keen to avoid.

It's all bollocks. Pandering to the big teams which just makes them bigger at the expense of everyone else. Should never have changed from the european cup format.

@ernie78 the european cup format was only champions from their leagues. Everyone was equal and there weren't too many games that it really distorted the finances of the teams from their domestic leagues.

Now the whole concept is to give as much chance to the biggest teams in europe to get as far in the competition as possible and make both them and uefa as much money as they can. This means less money for smaller teams. It also means that (some) fans of teams that can't compete support the bigger teams.

Meaning the big teams get bigger and the small die off.

It is shit.

Come on Apoel, get an away goal then hang on for dear life (which is what they're normally good at, minus the goal)
