A win will really feel llke we've turned a corner as after Fulham and the negativity from yesterday a loss would normally be par for the cause with everyone up in arms over the 9 changes on Tuesday and then the lack of activity yesterday resulting in a real blow to our momentum especially with the International break so fingers firmly crossed here,I'd take a draw and think that's how it will turn out.

Turf Moor gives me shivers and we have plenty of sour days and nights there. Kompany's team a very different to previous Burnley's in the past though and will present us with new problems.
I think the first team out I am hoping for a good performance and our front foot aggressive football and that should lead to the win.

This Burnley plays football not Dycheball. As long as we continue to do what we have been doing there is no reason we cant get a positive result.

I have to say we drew at Fulham with effectively our second string so unless people think our first choice eleven are no better than them I can't see us coming away from the game without a win.
We'll just keep going at them in waves and they'll eventually buckle 3 points minimum.

Nope... I think I'm usually one of the most positive people on here and in general about Spurs... I've even backed Levy for several years... and still do it sometimes ;)

I just have a feeling that we will lose soon in the league... today could be the day for me. It's an awkward match.... it could also be later on in the season. Who knows.

The result at Fulham was disappointing no matter what Ange said before the game or who was involved in the game... it might mean nothing today. Results do often have an impact on other games. Especially at clubs that are not used to winning cups 😏😏

But I will be fired up.. don't get me wrong 👍👍
I think we’ll win comfortably but they’ll have a couple of good chances.
I think we’ll win today, smash sheff United then I think we’ll get properly humbled at arsenal 3-0

I’m pretty positive. We have some holes in the squad if we get injuries but we also managed to bring in players that really help the first XI and now we can just get on with the job. Fulham was gutting and a major setback. Ange experimented and it went wrong but this is Ange, he’ll take huge risks to get to the final destination. He’ll have learnt a lot and I’m sure will have the boys amped up for a bounce back. Looking forward to the game.

Agree, but they have to perform.

Van de Ven looks a really promising player who is already very good, but prone to individual errors (as are Romero and Porro) and I hope Richarlison can hold up the ball and improve on his runs into space.

Aside from a penalty shootout defeat we have been fine. So why a bad feeling? Our strongest side have been impressing in the league games.
Not sure why, just have. Maybe it’s all the disruption caused by the transfer window. I know it hasn’t affected the first 11 but it must still be distracting. 🤞I’m wrong..COYS!

Have a feeling that our midfield will be the key today. Burnley will press high onto us and we'll need Bissouma at his best to launch us on the attack with his ball carrying.

Spurs 2-0 win please.

Looking forward to getting back to football, rather than worrying over whether we have cover for an injury to X player or whether we've got enough HG players in our 25 man squad - i remember the days you just watched the match, cheered your team on and then didn't really think about the team again until they next played.

We should have enough to win this, and i'd be disappointed if we didn't. I'd set a target of 8-10 points from our first 5 games, which i thought realistically took into account our players getting to grips with our new tactics. Funnily enough i expected the defence to be the slowest to adjust but expected the forward line to do well, and imo it's been the reverse of that, the defence has been very solid while the forward line hasn't really clicked yet (but has had enough quality in moments to get the job done).

2-0 away win for me with Kulu responding to the signing of Johnson by having a greater impact in todays game.

Both Donley and Santiago play for the U21 today, so not replacing Lo Celso.
Phillips is not however, so could be involved.

Nile John and Paskotski missing of players that started last one. Could be players on standby for injuries against Burnley even if Veliz takes last place on bench. So if someone gets injured say during warmups, those could come into contention.

Strongest 11, let’s keep the ball rolling and get these important early points on the board. When the going gets tough later in the season, we’ll need a buffer to fall back on.

As in previous seasons, the key will be taking maximum points against the teams we should be beating. Burnley are in that category so 100% concentration and commitment required. The last few years we've pissed away so many points on this type of game and it's cost us dearly.

Maddison, sarr and Bissouma 7-1 to all have a shot on target. Fancy that.

more confidence in these having a shot than our three forwards.

With one game a week we ought to be playing the strongest 11 every time.

I'm just glad the window is closed so we can focus on what really matters. The match and who we actually have here. 3rd straight away game, won well last weekend, shocking performance at Fulham with lots of changes yet still drew. We should win this and put ourselves in a good mood into international break.

This may be a truism but it becomes harder and harder to determine which teams any other team ‘should beat’. There are good players everywhere throughout the league.

Bit unusual to play 3 away games out of your first 4 games isn't it?!
