A bit more about the interest. The second tweet is undoubtedly opinion but seems logical to me.

Doesn't seem that farfetched tbh.

GLC was allegedly always a target independent of Eriksen leaving and if we've finally given up on him signing a new deal it makes sense that we'd look for a replacement.
I would've agreed if we had signed one of them already, but I just don't see how we do it. Don't get me wrong, I'd fucking love it.

GLC has always been our top target and I feel BF is an additional one, not alternative, especially if itk of Eriksen not complying to sign after an agreement is true.

I would gladly welcome that.

Eh, kinda underwhelmed. Feel like Bruno would flop in PL.
GLC seems much better fit for PL and is the type of player that we actually need, rather than Bruno.

Gards retweeted this, but could mean nothing as the comments on it arent exactly positive..

I’ve always thought this was a made up link but maybe we are after him. Need an Eriksen replacement anyway.

I don't know how some people are coming up with signing BOTH GLC and Bruno lmao after recent events, I would take either, preferably Fernandes.
If we are only getting bruno and losing eriksen then I think we are going to struggle more. If eriksen is going then it should be both bruno and glc, you never know how they are going to settle and we need more variety

20 goals and 13 assists in 33 league games last season is certainly impressive, but does anyone know if he passes the eye test?
Was in Lisbon a couple of months ago and went to watch Sporting’s game where they pumped Beleneses 10-1. He scored a hat-trick that day without barely getting out of first gear. Pretty clear he’s far too good for that division. He also impressed as a young player in Italy as well and going back to Portugal has really helped him round out his game. Doubt he’ll translate those numbers to the premier league but he’s definitely ready for the step up.

Tottenham are exploring a deal for Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes as an alternative to Giovani Lo Celso.
Spurs want to add an attacking midfielder to their squad before the August 8 transfer deadline and they have been locked in talks with Real Betis for Lo Celso for months.

But they are no closer to agreeing a fee with the Spanish club, who are holding out for the Argentina international's full £88million release clause and have rejected a £52m bid.

Spurs have now opened talks with Sporting for Fernandes, who scored 23 goals from midfield for club and country last season.

In mid-June, Spurs strongly denied widespread reports in Portugal that they were interested in Fernandes but the club has since decided to pursue a deal and local media claims they have sent two senior officials to Lisbon in a bid to finalise a deal.

I agree. As it seems now Eriksen might actually be off, both coming in may be possible.

It seems Tottenham Hotspur’s meeting with Sporting in Lisbon didn’t go very well.

According to local outlet Record, the Lions have rejected the offer made by the Spurs at the Portuguese club’s headquarters this afternoon.

Record says the meeting lasted until about 17:30 (same time zone). Since the bid was less than €70m, Sporting president Frederico Varandas has rejected it.

The report says Tottenham’s emissaries will take the answer back to London (either physically or otherwise), and a new meeting between the clubs could happen in the next few days.
