Agreed, we will need to pick up excellent results (not just good or acceptable ones) to win the league. But in all honesty I still don't think we are good enough to win the league. We lack a real star quality outfield player to make that difference. But then, Leicester didn't have one last year so anything is possible if other teams under perform.....
Maybe we are and maybe we aren't. Would still make Citeh favourites, but we'll have to see how they bounce back from their recent disappointments. Liverpool, of course, are good going forward and have no European football - but, for anyone who just read about it on here and didn't actually see it, their defence was exposed again today, by the Baggies, and they were holding on to get the win in the end...at Anfield. So don't think they that much more convincing TBH. Same with the Goons, United and Chelsea. If we can get Kane back and get our fluency back in attack we may just have a chance yet. At least we are unbeaten and not conceding goals - neither of which can be said for any of our opponents.
in any case, Poch said last season we were ahead of schedule. he is building for the future.
