I havent got masses of time so I will respond to each of you in turn:

Barmy: Segers over saw the training of Sulli, Keller and Robbo all of whom got worse under his coaching. He was poor in the extreme, hence why he was sacked.

Nidge: Ramos has a dietician working with each player individually, Alvarez weighs each player weekly and works on an individual training plan, Ramos focuses on tactics, positioning and oversees and any issues raised by his coaching and playing staff.

Compared to Jol (who refused a fitness coach by the way) the professionism is off the chart.

I know because several people close to the training ground have told me so.

Chris12345: Jol didnt have to go because of his loss to Sunderland but because of his admission that he sent the team out against Sunderland three weeks from fitness.

Everybody: Jol was deeply flawed but not a bad thing for Spurs, we just out grew him.

The consistancy will come next season to match the top performances against the top teams, mark my words.

Smithy: Get a life and stop stalking me.

And was it Jol who organized a trip to South Africa for the preseason games? Or could it of possibly of been our dear leader?

I don't think Jol was responsible for fixture selection... it's not his fault the preseason fixture schedule was not rigorous enough!

And our players seemed to be fit enough the past 2 seasons... ok in Jol's first full season (i think) we bombed out of the cups... but the 2nd season we made good progress in the cups, and still managed a late surge to claim 5th spot... ok, the players could've been fitter, but they certainly weren't as drastically out of shape as you seem to think!

Preseason games get the team playing together.

Fitness is done on the training pitch. i.e. what Ramos is doing as we speak.

So playing a combination of first teamers and youth players in preseason games isn't about match fitness?! If it was about learning to play as a team, should we not be playing our strongest XI in these matches and leaving all our youngsters at home?!

so, in your opinion, he was an "oaf" who was "not a bad thing for spurs"? So oafs are ok, or not? im confused.

its contradictions like that which are showing u up mate. You make no sense whatsoever.

oh yeah, and while i'm at it, why is it that u think Robbie has "gone backwards"? i think a lot of us are still waiting for u to answer that one.

Oafish in respect of the teams fitness. He was an average manager, not bad is all.

Why is everybody so obsessed with Robbie Keane on here?

They're not obsessed, it's just he happens to score a great deal of goals for us, which is kinda important.

Ramos still has much to prove, because we are still throwing away leads and playing like bags of shit in the 2nd half - fitness regime or not fitness regime, I'm not seeing marked improvement in ANY of our players.

Some stats on Robbie Keane... he doesn't have to be your favorite player, but saying he's "gone backwards" is pretty absurd!

Leeds:
46 apps, 13 goals... 0.3 goals per game (approx)
(i think this maybe slightly wrong... but its probably close enough)

Inter
13 apps, 2 goals...

Conventry
34 apps, 12 goals... 0.4 gpg (approx)

Spurs
250 apps, 106 goals... 0.45 gpg (approx)

And at the very top end of the Premiership in his time with Spurs...

So out of the whole list of players I cited we are focusing on 1.

I must have been spot on with the rest then.

Well I was moving it back onto the blunder of the season arguement, not what you have said In other threads TBH I couldnt give a toss about arguing past topics, anyway lets continue

Anywhooo

Biggest blunder of the season has to be the handling of the Jol/Ramos affair.

Lennon, Daws, Robbo, Chimbonda......tell me Im wrong.

Oh and IT IS MY OPINION. I have explained my reasoning, what more backup do you want?

I won't say that you're wrong, but I think when these players are playing in the FULL team ie with King (fit) Bale (fit) they perform better than they do without them. I feel Lennon plays better when he's CM rather than RM. It's hard to see this season how far we've gone forward/back as we rarely play what I would call our first team.
