He is out his depth at Premiership level, let alone up against the top teams in the CL. Finding it hard to have to much of a go at him as just a simple case of him not being good enough. Think he needs to drop down a level for his own good. The supposed Palace move in the summer that didn't go through would have been a really good one for him.

wasn't long ago i thought we were blessed in central midfield. not it seems we have nothing.

We have Skipp, Jose just needs to get the balls to swap him with Dier.

It's a delicate issue though, as i'd imagine Dier is a big figure in the dressing room and dropping him would be a big move. I feel a bit sorry for him because he's trying but he's just nowhere near good enough. If he won't go to CB then he needs to leave.
