im more worried about maicon vs BAE. Maicon is one of the best players in the world, hands down. he keeps dani alves out of the brazil team. Sneijder is a monster. Eto'o is Eto'o. You kidding me? this team are incredible.

AND THEYRE GONNA BE AT WHL. SICK.

If he gets the chance to attack BAE with Bale whupping his arse all game, Bale is also one of the best players in the world and this CL is going to confirm that.

I think you are all underestimatinf Rafa Benitez.

He won the Champions league in his first season, with Houlliers squad. It went downhill when he dismantled that winning squad and moulded it into his own.

But then this is Rafa, so anything is possible I suppose.

i think you are all underestimating spurs!

63 games at WHL in european history, 60 of those undeafeated, WOW.

Inter before mourinho, same team but with mancini in charge very average in the champions league I remember liverpool beating them recently and man united hammering them at home. Last season was mourinhos years.

Lucio is good but crouch is very hard to handle in europe. We are spurs and can win at home inter wont know whats hit them.

It'll be interesting to see how he shapes the team. He could play a similar type of system to Mourinho.

Will he play Eto'o in the middle? Or will he play him wide right? He could cause trouble for Ekotto, but with Bale in front of him he'll get some help. So it could be Ekotto and Bale vs Eto'o and Maicon down that side.

Does Zanetti still play left back for them? He's a legend, but will his legs be able to keep up with Lennon? He'll use all his experience i'm sure, but if he is left with Lennon facing up to him he'll be in trouble.

They don't really have anyone quite like Lennon and Bale in Serie A. I think they'll be our biggest threat for sure. I'm sure we'll go with 3 in centre midfield, and go similar to the Stoke away game.

We tend to do well against Chelsea these days, especially at home. They're the most similar to Inter in England, so I think we're capable of getting results against them.

Their main danger will be Sneijder though. If Palacios doesn't find form soon, the arrival of Diarra could be even more useful.

As it's Rafa if we can get the first goal he'll probably sub Eto'o and bring on a defender.:)

Bale was a bit poor on Wednesday in 1on1 situations. Couldnt get past sutter on a number of occasions. Maybe it was the rain or something...

Managed 4 assists though so not complaining! Just the 1on1 aspect of his game looked a bit off in that game.

Still have faith in him for inter away though. Modric/Thudd/BAE playing early passes down the left wing could catch maicon out of position as bale is always looking for that pass to dart onto.
