Just been trying to work out our squad strategy. DL is someone who likes to 'manage' us responsibly & is always keen to trim the fat off in terms of older players. The ___ I've left are for FF & MS.

As you can see, the average age of the majority of our departments is around 24, apart from our strikers where we are averaging 26.6 - the best side of 27.

The squad list below contains 8 players aged 27 or above. 3 of which are goalkeepers & they are able to continue at a high standard in their older ages. I would imagine that the majority of these players are available minus Lloris & Vertonghen. This leaves Lennon, Dembele, Soldado & Adebayor.

How would the squad below match up re homegrown players anyone? Please discuss.

1. Hugo Lloris (27) 33
2. Michel Vorm (30)
3. Brad Friedel (43)

4. Kyle Walker (24) 23.57 / 24
5. Kyle Naughton (25)
6. ___________________
7. Eric Dier (20)
8. Jan Vertonghen (27)
9. Vlad Chiriches (24)
10. Ben Davies (21)
11. Danny Rose (24)

12. __________________ 24 (Jay Rodriguez (25) - 23.8)
13. Etienne Capoue (26)
14. Lewis Holtby (23)
15. Paulinho (26)
16. Nabil Bentaleb (19)

17. Erik Lamela (22)
18. Andros Townsend (23)
19. Christian Eriksen (22)
20. Mousa Dembele (27)
21. Aaron Lennon (27)
22. Nacer Chadli (25)

23. Roberto Soldado (29) 26.6 (Christian Benteke (23) - 24.3)
24. Emmanuel Adebayor (30)
25. Harry Kane (21)

OUT: Younes Kaboul (28), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (30), Zeki Fryers (loan), Sandro (25)

Aaron Lennon (Jay Rodriguez, Southampton - 25), Emmanuel Adebayor (Christian Benteke, Aston Villa - 23)

Thanks for the unnecessary spam rating, Yid_Summers!

This might help us understand our strategy for the last remaining days of the window. Thought this is the place for Spurs Chat after all..
