Why are they so fucking weird?

"Mikel Arteta has revealed Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko have been living together over the last few days, following their altercation on the pitch after the game against Nottingham Forest.

Mikel Arteta: “They’ve been in the same house for the last few days, sharing wives and everything. They’re living together now. They are best mates. You don’t argue with someone you don’t have a great relationship with.”

Weirdos. My wife struggles to live with me and our two boys let alone move out of our own house to go and live with some random family for a week.
That isn’t normal…

Arsenal right in a title race apparently yet if we win tonight we close the gap on them to 3pts but our season is over say the media...
You'd argue Arsenal are in the title race more because they are 3 points ahead and their next game is against the leaders.

Yeah and I’ve read/heard a few journos say that a Liverpool win this weekend would knock Arsenal out of the race, so they seem to have decided that a 7/8 point gap is the cut-off. Considering Liverpool have only lost once this season that seems fair enough.

Tomorrow is a massive game for Arteta. If Arsenal were to be ‘knocked out’ of the title race as early as February, and not get beyond the Q/Fs of the Champions League I can imagine a lot of their fans getting the hump and the whole mood around the club shifting. If they win then they are right back in it having seemingly come through their little slump. FWIW I think they will win tomorrow.

Just caught up on a few weeks of this thread - what on earth is wrong with them?

It’s like someone said “David Brent FC”

Everything they do seems to be perfectly manufactured cringe.

An initial letter from Arsenal suggested that Arteta had been intending to use "wives" with a different meaning of "misfortune, tragedy or bad luck."
I'd suggest the fact the twitter handle is now_arsenai with an i instead of an L means it's gunna be sattire

"You've won a game, get down the tunnel" ... Carragher on Arsenal's playful celebrations after the Liverpool-game... (Ødegaard taking pictures etc.)

I know Carragher is a Liverpool man. But he is bang on here... Arsenal acting like Arsenal again... hope it's their downfall. Getting carried away once more.
Whilst I agree with your sentiments (purely because it's them), I really do think winners should be able to enjoy the moment without everyone criticising them for "over celebration" - it's what we go every week for!

.......and, to be honest, if it winds up the scousers then it's a kinda silver lining! :cautious: :shifty:

Yes... it's not a matter of Scum vs Scousers or anything like that... I just like tasteful celebrations... I didn't like Maupay's goal-celebration against us either... and I think that Arsenal made too much of it yesterday after the game... they have done it before... overdo it. IMO...

I would love to be in the same situation. But I hope it would be with a different angle to the celebration.

I don't like when Klopp runs down the touchline to celebrate either... or his crazy, childish attitude...

It was a huge win for Arsenal... but I personally didn't like their behaviour after the game... :) 🤷‍♂️

If I were a Brentford fan then I'd probably have loved Maupay's celebration......well, at least up until it came back and smacked him on the arse after half time!

He he... of course.. 😁😁... if one of our players did that, I wouldn't like it at all... because it often comes back to bite you... and the arrogance is not something I like... winners or not... title-chasers or not.

I hope we create an atmosphere inside our team and club that would be more tasteful and likeable in case we should be in the same situation as Arsenal were yesterday :) ... it was almost like a parade...

But I guess it's a matter of personal opinion.

I see the Manchester united celebration was a copy cat of Kudus & Paqueta.
It’s becoming more of a thing now, trying to wind up the opposition with celebrations. Hopefully it comes back and bites hard.
