You need an element of luck to win titles - it's where I think we missed out on the title in 2017 as Chelsea in Europe would not have got as many points as they did.

But Arsenal have a considerable amount.

They haven' had any really significant injuries - all their real key players have stayed fit.
Played City when they were at their weakest.
Played Liverpool when they had a several players out.
Played Chelsea without Palmer.
Chelsea gifted them a point - a game in which I think would have been a bit of a crisis for them at the time had they lost.
Maddison and Son had to go off when we were at 2-2 and in the ascendancy, effectively halting our chance of beating them.
United went 2-1 up in the last minute only for the goal to be ruled out and tehy go and score 2 to win the game.

Played Wolves directly after the Bayern game, where they could be vulnerable, only for Wolves to miss several players through injury.
You make your own luck to a certain extent, they've been the most consistent team so far, but if City win tonight then pressure is back on them to get a result against us in the NLD. 20yrs ago they won the league at WHL, come Sunday lets make it the day they lost the league at WHL.

Knowing us, we'd throw our game against City and Arsenal would still win the league. There's a word for that if it happened, just can't put my finger on it right now...

I want us to stuff them on Sunday and any other time we play them.

As for them deserving the title I am sick and tired of watching their gamesmanship and continual cheating.

Arteta spends more time on the touchline than his technical area and NEVER gets booked for it. Whenever they give a free kick away within 10 yards of the halfway line they always have a player standing in the way of a forward pass and the opposition always pass back, and that helps their press every time. As for Saka and the number of dives he takes always asking for a free kick or yellow card.

Really I am not bias, I just hate them.

Don’t forget the bullshit corner and free kick routines. Cheating bastards!

I wouldn’t

atm they have to get over there loosing streak at the lane!
If we want to win the title in the next few seasons we will need to beat them.

let’s not loose to anyone!!

If they win it they win it. I'll detest the fact but we have our own club to worry about. I want us to stop living in their shadow.

I counted 5 dives from Saka and Oodegaard before the first goal against Chelsea - they go down like ten bob whores to get control of matches.

They did the same in the days of Arsene Wenger - I used to think they had mattresses laid out to practice falling to the ground

it's a conundrum, isn't it? But I could never rather we'd lose. Actually I can't imagine watching a match and hoping we lose.

That sounds so weird.

I think of it like when we need West Ham to beat someone. I’m not supporting the West Ham win, just the consequences of the game.

In this case it feels really crappy favouring ourselves doing worse to stop Arsenal winning the league.

Hopefully ourselves and Utd can get a result against Arsenal so they’ll lose the league regardless.

Remember the whole football nation wanted plucky Leicester to win the Premier - I’m certain a lot of teams gave them an easy ride.

Then you're just biased. If you can't see that they currently have the best attack and best defence with the best GD and so if they win the league they absolutely do begrudgingly deserve it.

I get we're meant to hate them and it's funny when they fail blah blah blah, but it won't kill you to admit they've been decent throughout the course of this season will it?

It's hard to have an adult discussion about them with some of you on here. Credit where it's due. They've done better than last season which I didn't expect.
Man, I'll politely applaud them if and when they lift the trophy but up until that moment, fuck them.
Fuck them in the face!

As a wise man once said:

Why you wanna fuck with me, fam?
I'm tryna live a square life, you wanna fuck up my plan
Under a bus, fucker, I'll throw you under a van
Throw the van in reverse and then I'll do it again

I hate everything to do with that club. I hate the manager, majority of the players and the insufferable fans. But I can admit they're one of the best sides this season on the pitch.

I thought the Bayern and Villa defeats would see the wheels come off. They went to Wolves and won then battered Chelsea. Yes Chelsea are crap, but you still have to do the job which they did so increasing the GD significantly.

Credit should be given where it is due.

Oh and Declan Rice is a proper decent bloke for sticking up for his missus after the abuse she has been given recently which led to her coming off social media. F anyone who does that towards partners and family members.

City winning tonight is good ahead of Sunday to keep the pressure on Arsenal.

Now if we beat them we can stick around after and enjoy City spanking Forrest to go back top 🤞
