Any player can still be lazy in a moment. It was either that or game instinct and not reacting.

I'm not talking about the break down the left either that he charged down, the one where Kane picked him out edge of the box.

But why Sissoko? Is he supposed to be perfect or an easy mark for criticism?

Look where the bloke starts.

"lazy" is just a very lazy way to describe it. He's a poor finisher but lazy he definitely is not. Fucking hell the bloke literally dragged the momentum in our favour in the last ten minutes. He's the very opposite of "lazy".

If he had the ball skills of Toure he'd be the best player in the world.

Ok yes Sissokko has improved alot since he started the club. But i just cant fanthom how he hasnt improved his shooting. Surely that something he should be working on in training as its a major weakness. But i see absolutely no improvement.

Is there any improvement on Eriksens corner taking. I can take a corner better than Eriksen!

Lol - look at the BBC report... Before the game the "line" was "Spurs on down Arsenal on up".

Now it's a "stirring come back" but the plucky Arse.

Ffs :ROFLMAO:

I think every pundit pretty well called us as third place finishers before the season and not much for the Arse

I don't disagree but Sissoko has really worked hard and done the best that he could. He has been man of the match several times when our stars have been crap

I do agree but I think we need to move on from him now. He definitely still has his uses without doubt though.

Sissoko had a great game I thought. Harsh to hate on him for a couple of poor moments in attack when he's not the man that should be up there playing the final pass or shot.

Most of our lads, Sanchez and Rose aside I thought acquitted themselves well today after the shit show last week.

Such a shame we couldn't hold out until half time at 2-0 as it would have been massive to go in with their heads down and our tails up but instead it was the opposite.

Kanes shot goes in off the post and we win that game.

Just need to find the way to close these games out again.

For me that's as good as Woolwich can play and we're only at about 50% at the moment. They're almost at 100%, barring Bellerin and Tierney, who should improve them but not enough in my opinion.

Foyth in at RB, Davies and Sess on the left, and a fit and firing Ndombele will be massive for us. Hopefully we get to see it after the international break.

Fuck me.

In that moment he was the player who could most effect it, most help Kane with the ball. He did nothing, and was bailed out by Eriksen busting a gut forward to take men away and create space (for Sissoko eventually arriving). That's why I critiqued it.

And look where Eriksen starts......

I said it was lazy, or just poor footballing instinct in that moment, what could have been a crucial one to snatch a winner. Take your pick, either or.

I merely outlined an alternative scenario. If Sissoko gets on his bike straightaway, Eriksen might be arriving for the shot, surely a preferable scenario.

Fuck a doodle doo.

Exactly. Sanchez also looks no better as a defender. Are the players being coached or are they not putting in the extra yards themselves.

Sanchez just isn't good enough for this team in my opinion. I get that he's young and he has a lot to learn. But I don't see him learning all that quickly enough to be good enough. He'd do well at a team that has less pressure to finish high up the table.

I'm not sure what Pochs ideas are about
I feel he micro manages them and it puts a tension there there that shouldn't be at least for the defence and mids but attacking wise he just let's them run
Not sure why Moura can't get a gig he has ball talent or Skipp another with ball talent

Not denying that hes a tryer at all but he's so limited as an overall footballer that I genuinely don't think he should be starting for us with hopefully N'dombele taking over his role with winks beside him.
The last 5 mins of the game summed him up, brilliant when carrying the ball but composure went awol and Ultimately led to nothing.
Such a shame because he always tries, always get the impression he runs himself into the ground but it's just not enough.

It’s not a hate thing. Sissoko does his job but is just isn’t good enough generally. We will be a much better team when NDembele and Lo Celso are up to speed. And a proper right back.

I don't disagree but some people blaming the guy for us not winning is harsh. He was probably the biggest reason we had so many opportunities in the final 10 minutes. He basically dragged us into their half single handedly.

Don't the other players know it.
Will all the attackers we have can't they help him out after he has brought the ball 40 or 50 yards??

I know he can run all day but his footballing just isn’t good enough. Never had been. It’s ehy we have struggled this year and why we bought 2 midfielders in the summer.
