A footnote on the day of our meeting with Brentford: About great talents that break through early and have plenty of injury problems, see Ryan Sessegnon.

This thread is far too active for a player who it is widely accepted isn’t joining. Any other random Brentford players we want to start a thread about?
He's becoming a tottenham Legend. Like Daimiao or Bissouma (before he actually signed).

Nusa is Tottenham. He probably always will be. We'll always look out for his results and will wish him well.

he’s already nearly caught up with playing as many games as Sessegnon. Another 10 and he’s ahead of Gio.

I'm sure clubs would prefer to wait and see how he does the rest of the season and if he looks fit enough now

I think we should have a forum thread tracking players we all got hyped about during previous transfer windows, might be sobering and may even temper future meltdowns - or not....

He´s staying until summer. At least. Which is what the club and player wanted, apparently. But Brugge will not then get even close to the price we were willing to pay just a week ago, even less so the widely leaked Brentford price. And the player will have a much harder time attracting interest from clubs on PL level because of all this, especially with the so called issues with his medical.

You don’t even have to look that far…. See one Bryan ( The Monkeys tribute act) Gil.

May not even move in the summer, if he has a knee/back op then clubs will probably want to see how he looks first. Might be one for next January or the summer after that if he starts playing more regularly.

Brugge are going to end up playing themselves here. Tried to be too clever.
Not sure how much difference it would have made. Like if they accepted our lower offer would we still have walked away after the medical. One thing is for sure is they won't be getting as much as they were hoping and possibly not even what we had agreed.

You would have thought they'd have a chat with Gent about how holding out for an unrealistic transfer fee can come back and smack you on the arse.

Can see him going somewhere like Marseille/Napoli now for a reduced fee, then get moved around all the European leagues for the next 4/5 years.

Like those wallies, at Genk with the 30M valuation of Orban, went for 15 in the end.
What they really needed was to call over David Dickinson and ask for his help.

he would've told them it was "the real deal" and they would have shaken hands... :cautious:
