Only on the tail end of this & not read the thread posts since this morning - is it possible we had prior knowledge? (Via whatever means)

Well done Levy. Everyone said 'to dare is too dear', but I knew that you and Fab had a back door to his doctors and knew he'd fail the medical!!

I believe in you!!

The injury concerns are pretty obviously the reason Brugge were trying to sell him now. Probably concerned there could be further issues in the second half of the season.

One thing is for sure is if he does actually move, ether now or in the summer, his price will have gone down regardless of how well he does for the remainder of the season.

Tenner says Fab managed to swap the medical results with Ledley's, allowing us to go in with a low-ball offer.

More than that, I think any professional player failing a medical would leave you with a bit of a stigma. It’s a very public red flag.

POK was saying previous to this he still thinks it will happen for less money.

Feel bad for the kid if he's got these issues, but hopefully it's solvable stuff. Defo makes sense to stay well clear I would think given our propensity for signing players that turn out to have massive and recurring issues (Lamela, Ndombele, Sess, Lo Celso...). Can have all of the talent in the world but if you're not fit enough to get on the pitch then it's just money down the toilet and a squad place used up.

Surely nobody commits big money to anyone with potentially serious knee issues, particularly an explosive player like that.

The lad looks promising for sure, but I agree with the club opting out of the deal given the reported terms agreed with Brentford.
