It could quite easily be that Brugge want him to stay til the summer but we want him now. They may have accepted Brentford's bid to pressure us into changing our stance.

Still a few twists and turns in this one yet I reckon.

£30m with a loan back now for a player who I'm convinced will be touted for £80m-£100m in two or three years. It felt like such a no brainer.

I'll be bitterly disappointed if he joins another club.

Norwegian media reporting that he has agreed terms with Brentford now.

More immediate game time and possibly having a release clause inserted into the contract may be persuading factors for him

From the player's side the fact that we want him now should have made him feel that we were the club for him because we believe in him now and are ready to give him game time. It would seem weird to go to a different club on that basis. As others have said it must have been Brugge trying to twist our arms by accepting a bid that suits them better.

I hope you’re right regarding the twists and turns but the main source who broke the news said he’s opted for Brentford .. also backed up by Jan Aage Fjortoft.. this is done

I would guess the need for his profile of player now must be incredibly pressing for Ange. I wonder if we will pull the trigger on Rowe instead now if we can't get Nusa in.

Come on, considering the ITK or at least constant posts in this thread there have been more than just tentative enquiries on Nusa - let’s not gaslight now

Just goes to show how small of amount of money 30 mill should be for a club like Spurs, if Brentford even have the possebility to dish out that sum on a potentilal 18 year old.

How's them straws 😉 did you manage to clutch many? 😂

why would he go to Brentford, when he has already previously rejected Chelsea, is being monitored by every elite club in Europe, and is in talks with us? It makes no sense. If we don’t sign him in Jan, he is more likely to assess his options in the summer than sign for a mid table prem team now.
