Isn't that how it's usually done? Verbal negotiations and then a formal written offer is sent. Either way I'm trusting WLB 100 % here.
Nothing I haven’t already said ? There is a window for other clubs spurs are 100 percent in talks to sign nusa. Nothings been completed why the oh ? We are being aggressive with this boy

Better not be too aggressive, don't want to injure the lad to add to the long list

Are we thinking he could cover left back with possibly letting Sess go. Maybe loan Sess the other way.
I mean he puts in work defensively but he is not nearly strong enough to play the role and it would be a waste of his talents. Someone like Illing-Junior could 100% play lb as he has good defensive awareness, Nusa works hard, tracks back and presses players but not at all suited to a LB role in any system.

The reason we have FPP headroom is because we haven't gone gung-ho at any of the long list of times us fans would have recommended it!

We're better off following our own strategy I reckon, and if other clubs are struggling with FFP then so be it. If we find opportunities in the market that fit the plan that's great, but I don't think we should suddenly decide to have a January spending spree simply because it's possible..
Levy playing a blinder. If he gets this done i forgive him🤣

Would be great if we could bring him in now as I think he would certainly be an option from the bench from day 1. However even if we can only agree a loan to his current club for him then to join us in the summer that's still perfectly fine by me but would be exciting to see the kid this season.

I think @For the love of Spurs is suggesting expediting some of our business that would otherwise happen in Summer '24, while we can get better value for money (fewer suitors), rather than signing extra players.

This does seem to be the most active we've been in a January window since 2009 (Harry Redknapp's first transfer window). Personally, I think Levy taking an opportunity to execute the club's plan for cheaper (by doing it 6 months earlier) is more likely than him splashing cash in the hope of pinching a PL title this season. Levy has a history of playing the long game but also taking financially sound opportunities when they arise.

Don't think it's possible is it? Isn't the agreement he stays there for the season?
No he's contracted to Split until 2025 and Splits player to loan out their manager said last year they'll discuss with us to sort a loan

Yes but like Nusa a player that is wanted by many there might be opportunities we might not get again. Not saying we go crazy just saying we might had an advantage in Jan that we don’t have in summer.

Not really sure why we would want to buy him to come straight here, surely staying on loan is better? Given that even if peri and gil do go, we have Werner, solomun LW, Son and richie striker, and kulu/johnson RW. That is a lot of forwards.

Tbf im not surprised he would be reluctant. Considering we just got Werner and Solomon is back I’m not sure how much game time in his preferred position he would actually get.
Agreed. Would be great though to get him acclimated with the squad for 6 months as an 18 year old. It may take him some time to get up to speed compared to someone like Werner for example so time could only help the young man.
