I’m not overly fussed we didn’t get him, unless Conte really did want him. However, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to see him bombing towards people in a Spurs shirt. Would of liked Traore or Diaz did not think we would go for both. But is starting to look a bit fucking silly. By no means do I expect him to choose us over Barca, but this is a player we chased for pretty much 2 full windows and then Barca come in and do a deal in a few days. Paratici may be doing the scouting / even the negotiations but Levy for hell and high water is still signing off the deals.

Paratici is part of the committee which Levy has the final word.
