No. I never wanted him. You said the signing made sense. It didn't, because he was never good.

You refer to people who question the decision to sign him as arrogant, and knowing more than scouts and tactical analysts. They did.

You said he was a consistent performer. He wasn't.

It's nothing to do with hindsight or rewriting history. We signed a poor wing back and then played him either out of position at right back or without the necessary cover behind him to mask his weaknesses, thus exposing them. GLC is a transfer that hasn't worked out. Ndombele and Doherty should never have been signed.
