Adama Traore

The question is: do you want us to sign Adama Traore? As many as are of that opinion say

What are the odds he plays really well against us today and people are clamouring for him to sign ?

FWIW, I think his skill set is massively under-utilised. I would play him as a midfielder, simply tasked with getting the ball 60 yards up the pitch, beating 3-4 opposition players with ease, before offloading a 5 yard pass to Son or Kane to do the rest. Easy ?

I like how Son, Moura, and Bergwijn counter attacked against City but imagine having the likes of Traore to bring on when playing on the counter… Moura very fast, Son and Bergwijn are decent pace whereas Traore is rapid… as others have said he’ll take the opposition defenders with him leaving Son, Kane? and co completely unmarked.

Yes, but then there’s the matter of him getting the ball to the unmarked players.

We just need to win it back really quick when he loses it ?

Tbh every time I’ve seen him his been good but I’ve not watched him much. He is so fast and powerful he gives u problems.

I’ve been harsh on him in this thread and don’t trust his shoulders but he would be an exciting watch, that’s for sure. On the right terms it could be an entertaining punt.

Can’t believe anybody can watch this guy compared to our wing play thus far today and can think he wouldn’t be a massive upgrade. He is the best player on the pitch today by a wide margin.

As many others have said, by signing him you are guaranteed to have the other team double up on him.

That will make space for our other attacking players.

I think he would be a very astute signing.

JT is doing a good job defending him physically, but Traore is giving him and Sanchez pure hell.

Even if his end product isn't sublime, the sheer amount of situations he creates on his own is incredible.
