Dude, don't get me wrong, I'm chuffed that we're in the Final. Any self-respecting Spurs fan would be. All I'm saying is that it doesn't take away from the fact that our squad has serious issues, and I feel that they stem from the attitude of some of our players. Surely, you can't deny that?

Fair enough rez, I agree that we have problems but I'm never sure who it is we are talking about, if as people say Darren Bent is upset that Defoe is back then to a certain extent I can see why he would be, some people say Jenas isn't interested, mainly because they just don't like him, but if it is true then why would that be, maybe the fact that he knows too many Spurs fans want him out and maybe he even wants out now but we won't let him, I hope not but I wouldn't blame him.

What I guess I'm trying to say is that if there are unhappy players then there must be a reason those players aren't happy but nobody has bothered to ask why.
Anyway for the time being I'm going to concentrate on enjoying our success.

It's an excellent question, and I think there are a number of 'layers' of displeasure (if that makes sense).

I think primary among them is the uncertain nature of the club as a whole. Something that we fans seem to pass over is that we're still very much in turmoil, since Jol left. I'm not going to debate the merits or otherwise of the Jol sacking, but one thing that's undeniable is that it destabilised the club and we haven't recovered from it yet.

Along with that I think there may be a prima donna mentality in the dressing room. West Ham suffered from it recently too, if we remember, and I think it's infected the dressing room. And a corollary to that is the influx of players will make those prima donnas lose their focus.

I can't say which players are guilty of it, but I think it's obvious to all of us which players don't let it affect them on the pitch. For me, the list comprises of Dawson, Woody, King (when he plays) and Jamie O. Those who are not giving 100% on the pitch need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Anyway for the time being I'm going to concentrate on enjoying our success.
Good on ya! I'll try and get in the party spirit as much as my gnarled, grizzled cynical soul will allow.
