We’ve come away to a side that most said pre game “always raise their game” or “it’s their cup final” or variations of “dont fancy us”. Sure we’ve not been at our best but still got a good solid point, dominated the game with out being at our best.
Out of interest where do you see our next win coming from? Of course you'll say "Its the Premier League and all games are tough"
We should be beating West Ham if we have any aspirations of being a Champions League side for goodness sake. This making excuses each time we play shit needs to stop.

Could have won it, could have lost it. A point is a fair result. Good team goal by us, lovely finish by Johnson. Such a shame to concede when we did as we were well on top, then poor loss of possession by Destiny ended up in the corner they netted from. Then when he had a chance to make amends in the 94th minute he hits it straight at the keeper! They then go down the other end and I'm shitting myself thinking they will score, then we stop that attack and break away only for Kulu to play a shit pass, before they then go the other end and fuck it up themselves. Chaotic end to the game and both teams will feel it was there to be won.

IMO Richarlison should have been on for Werner by 60 minutes. The German has no striker instincts and there were some wonderful crosses into that box right up until Richy actually came on and then we stopped crossing it! Maddison was just beginning to purr when he was removed. I think Ange is trying to wrap him in cotton wool for the run-in but surely Lo Celso should have been the nod if Ange wanted to protect Madders as Kulu is out of form. Biss was good but I have to say Pierre injected a lot more urgency into our midfield when he took his place. Sarr for Bents was understandable only for the yellow card situation but other than that he was making us tick in the middle. Mixed bag of subs for Ange today after all the right ones on Saturday. Sonny was so frustrating today, I was screaming myself hoarse as he spurned many opportunities to shoot, instead passing inside to other players with a fraction of his shooting ability. Maybe in the cold light of day a point will be welcome because we could just as easily have lost but right now I feel a tad pissed off with that result and some of our sloppy play.

Ange has real problems here, we've gone backwards in the last 3 months, which is in direct contravention to his mantra of developing and progressing being the most important thing. He needs a variant of his style to employ.

Think he just needs to execute his style but better. For me that's with dynamic and fast dribblers, which we don't have (or not very good ones). If we can somehow grind out a CL spot it'll be a fabulous season imo.

Not sure the relevance of the question. We won on Saturday and drew today, which is absolutely fine for me. Throughout the season we have consistently played well against the top sides so I can’t answer that but we may win every game, draw every game, lose every game but probably a mix of all three 👍😂

I don’t disagree. But I still say we need to be putting teams away.
For sure at times but I do feel this was not one of those fixtures. It was always going to be a tight one. We have to respect the opponents. I'm not sure where this idea we should roll over West Ham away comes from. We haven't won there in 5 years, they are always well up for it and a week night 3 days after our last game is a really tough one. These midweek away fixtures have always been tricky ones. You have to dig out a narrow win at times and a solid defence does that.

Fair enough but a only one team were going to win that. They are at home, a top 7 team and just put 9 at the back and hope to score from a set piece.
Paqueta and Kudus have looked brilliant over last few weeks and hardly had a kick. Paqueta did kick Maddison but I was pleased to see James get revenge within a few minutes.
In games like these we just look like we need a big centre forward . Lump8ng it in now and again sometimes pays dividends. In that respect I would always play Richy in these sort of games . Sonny cannot hold the ball up and his control is crap. Far better on the left, more space.
Werner has done well but doesn’t compare to Sonny.
Must be great watching a David Moyes team!!

A sit on the fence answer as I expected. We scraped past Luton (at home) and drew today. Both games we should be winning comfortably. I expect better given what we're chasing and the quality of our squad which by the way is better than West Ham and Luton. it's really down to what level you think we're at I suppose.

Even Richarlison isn't that strong back to goal. In the summer I would seriously consider a goalscoring 9 over another wide attacker. We have too many runners but nobody who really holds it up and links play then gets into the box to finish. Son drifts around too much which is fine when the game is open but against a packed defence rarely works.
