Imagine it’ll be a fairly entertaining game, both teams are through and could be free and loose.
Dead rubbers don’t often come around.

What I'm seeing is everybody shitting themselves about tonight. We've got a hell of a lot of quality out there and should be giving them a good game. Especially when you consider this is not a great Bayern team in the great scheme of things.

They also weren’t classed as a great team when they humiliated us at home. Bayern have had a dip in their standards this season a bit like Man C but they’re still more than capable of running up a cricket score.

Its official. I'm a twat. For 2 fkin seasons I've been watching BT Sport on my laptop and phone using my Dads account. On the rare occassion I plug hdmi lead into tv from laptop and watch it on there.
Downloaded Amazon Prime app onto xbox last week and few days ago the idea popped into my old and obviously decaying brain 'wonder if I can download BT Sport app' Fkin dumbass. 2 years of piss balling about for no reason.
Just take me out the back and put me out my misery. I'm past it and not even 50 yet :(

if you think that’s bad, I spend 3 months watching BT Sport on my phone through an EE subscription because I didn’t realise our Samsung TV had an app for it.

See if Dier can keep his positional discipline. If he goes wandering it could get brutal very quickly.

Thrown Lo Celso and Sess under a bus. If I hadn't put some pints behind the bar I think I'd just go home and not bother with this.
It's a non game. Zero riding on it. Bayern won't be coming at us like they're possessed, won't want the injuries. I doubt we're going to get a hiding. People have been crying out for them to start, now we're throwing them under the bus.

All I'm saying is we shouldn't be making excuses already when we have 150m worth of talent in attack.

It will be really interesting to see where GLC plays in that formation and who plays next to dier.

Lucas up top and sessegnon as LW, dier as DM the other there could play anywhere, though my guess is moussa DRM, eriksen cm and GLC am.

It's not so much what we paid, its what they are worth.
Ha, what Gazza, KWP, Foyth, Rose, Dier and Eriksen?
There's really not that much value there at the moment, only really Eriksen and he's been shite for nearly a year (not to mention his current market value to us being zero).

I'm actually really looking forward to this game. There is absolutely no pressure with it being a dead rubber. Plus the fact that we are expected to get beat. If we win or draw, then great. If we get beat, then so what. Looking forward to seeing GLC get a full game as well. Fridge is well stocked. Just need to get the 3 year old in to his bed and then I'll be able to kick my feet up for 2 hours watching the best team on the planet. COYS!!!

Ok you win we're going to get battered....

All I'm saying is we should be giving them a decent game. On paper Salzburg should be getting battered by Liverpool but they gave them 2 decent games.

It’s not so much that we’re playing the kids it is more that Bayern somewhat unexpectedly went almost full strength.

Team's both stronger and weaker than I thought it would be - if that makes any sense.

I'd really like to see Tanganga get a game but more important that Foyth gets a look in at this stage and we can't start both.

KWP lives!

COYS!

Yeah - wonder why they're doing that? Trying to get continuity under a new manager? Or fulfilling contractual obligations? Just seems a bit odd when they knew we were resting players.

Pardon my ignorance, but why not? Nowt wrong with a good pils.

It was more tongue in cheek than anything, but in Munich/Bavaria they brew a different kind of lager called helles. Traditionally they don't drink Pilsener like the rest of Germany. Obviously people do nowadays but in the spirit of "when in Rome" you may as well drink the local stuff
