He's saying all the right things - but he's not stupid, he knows how many will be upset that Poch is gone and will want to get fans on his side quickly...
Best way of doing that is smashing West Ham this weekend...

At least the club clearly understand what a lot of the fans are thinking... But we've all heard this shit before from him at other clubs. He's an excellent talker.... As if Chelsea didn't have an embarrassment of quality young players when he was there.
Other people can buy it. I'm not, for now at least. See what happens over the next calendar year, he'll get us playing this season at least.

The youth bit felt forced as it was like he was having to explain why he hasn't used youth previously and considering the youth players that Chelsea/United have brought and are bringing through I'm inclined to feel like it wasn't a good excuse. Other than that I'm very hopeful, he was right when he said he's always spoke highly of our squad.

What young players have we got coming through right now?, because as far as I know we only have Parrot and Skipp, Tanganga maybe good enough but he'll need a year away on loan. Can't wait for the narrative that Jose is killing the kids even though Poch wasn't exactly blooding them but in all honesty I don't think they're good enough for first team football yet.

If the youth players arent good enough then they wont be played under him. Im not now expecting players like KWP to be amazing because poch is gone. The reality is looking at our youth players, only 1-2 have a chance thats tanganga and skipp.

I think Levy tried to get him in 2007, but Chelscum added a clause to the compensation saying he can't join another English club within 2 years.

We've also got KWP who apparently is behind Sissoko in the pecking order for his own position. Still hope it comes good for him.
Skipp I've seen nothing of interest from, ever, but Poch seemed to like him.
Parrott we obviously need to keep hold of and nurture, same as Foyth.
At least 2 of the above would almost certainly benefit from a few loans to the lower leagues, let's hope Jose actually does that while he gets the more senior players back on track.
